The world’s most expensive wedding!

On July 12th, the opulent wedding of a billionaire from the Ambani family unfolded, setting a new benchmark for luxury!

We’re excited to show you the most stunning floral designs created by the famous wedding florist Preston Bailey! He mentioned to the press that he received the call from the Ambani family only in March, giving him just three months to complete the project.

He designed 60 floral sculptures in the shape of animals: tigers, elephants, monkeys, snow leopards, parrots, deer, horses, giraffes, swans, and even replicas of the couple’s two dogs—to decorate the massive Jio World Centre, where the celebration took place.

The extensive use of animal figures paid tribute to the couple’s commitment to wildlife conservation.

Each sculpture required between 100,000 and 200,000 flowers, almost all sourced from across India (with the exception of peonies, which were imported). The team of 25 people was dedicated solely to ensuring the proper cooling of the flowers.

“If I were to count all the flowers used for the entire wedding, not just my part, I’d say it’s in the billions. I’m not exaggerating,” he states.

A focal point is the key area in your bouquet that draws immediate attention.

The golden ratio is your guide to determining focal points, helping you create a visually balanced and appealing arrangement.

When used effectively, focal points can make a world of difference. Let’s tackle a common request from clients.

**The Challenge:**

Create a bouquet on a mid-range budget that looks just as impressive as a high-end one.

The Solution:

1. Choose your flowers: mix a few premium, striking blooms with more affordable options.
2. Decide on the overall size of the bouquet.
3. Place the standout flowers at the focal points.
4. Gradually place less striking flowers farther from these focal areas.

The bouquet appears more luxurious because the first thing the client notices are the prominent, expensive flowers. Their gaze then moves to the more affordable, yet still beautiful, flowers, and finally to the smaller, budget-friendly blooms.

This creates an illusion of opulence — the bouquet feels far more upscale than what the client might have anticipated for the cost.

This is Kristina (SMM Manager at LBA), and today we're talking about modern art and floristry.

I often hear that modern art is all about "hype," lacking depth or complexity, and that anyone can replicate it. This brings to mind the iconic scene from "The Devil Wears Prada," where Miranda Priestly explains to the protagonist why she chose the sky-blue sweater, even though she doesn't follow fashion.

It's true that the form of masterpieces changes, but over time, it reaches a wide audience who may not even link it with something provocative or once showcased on the runway.

To me, modern art is all about inspiration, breaking free from what was confined by conventions (decorum, stereotypes, time, or traditions). Understanding modern trends in your field (and beyond) gives you an edge allowing you to embrace trends long before competitors who simply follow and copy each other

A Display Window That Drives Sales

At LB, we believe the window display is the face of the studio. No matter how great the service, how talented the florists, or how high the quality of the flowers, without an appealing display, it all loses its impact offline.
