To understand the roots of his sound, we have to go back to Ben’s childhood. As a child, Ben got musically influenced by his family, especially his father who listened to various kinds of music from orchestra to Old School Funk. Early on, Ben started to show interest in the mix of different sounds, blended with a passion for dance rhythm. Today, each of his releases show high elaboration and dedication explaining the roots of his taste.
Following his life’s vision, at a young age, Ben decided to study sound engineering, which he completed from SAE Dubai. Talented as he is, he started playing at top clubs in Dubai such as Armani, N’Dulge and Nasimi before even graduating.
The young producer accepted job offers from abroad and moved to Milan to expand his horizon , which brought a boom to his career. There he played in clubs such as ” Fabrique Milano , Byblos Milano & ReSeT! .
He continued spreading his name by playing in top clubs across Europe and in underground music capitals such as Berlin, Amsterdam, Athens and Mykonos.
Having conquered Milan’s nightlife, Ben started focusing more on his underground projects, more specifically his personal releases, which sprung interest in fellow artists and record labels. This has resulted in various collaborations, for example the track “Karma”.
Through 303 Lovers record label, Ben released the album Miami 2016 and “Notes off” (Rhythmetic Records) which was placed 16th at the Beatport top 100 Electronica ranking for summer 2016. This last track stands out and gets us all bouncing with the quirky synth line and heavy bass sequence, all held together very smoothly by eerie vocals. Even though he is still considered a fresh face, we can all tell that Ben is going to go far. The quality of his work speaks for itself. Have a listen and see for yourself. Join the funk movement boogie mania.
