Al Maryah Island: Fireworks will illuminate the sky at 9:00 PM on both December 2nd and 3rd. The promenade provides excellent viewing points, and nearby restaurants offer dining options with views of the display.
Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba: As part of the festival's celebrations, a fireworks display is planned, adding to the festive atmosphere.
2. Cultural Festivals and Activities:
Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival: Running from November 27 to December 3, this festival in Al Wathba showcases Emirati heritage through folk art shows, parades, and live entertainment. The festival grounds will feature fireworks, drone shows, and laser displays on December 2nd.
Mother of the Nation (MOTN) Festival: Returning for its eighth edition, the MOTN Festival offers family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and diverse food options, celebrating the nation's spirit.
3. Special Events and Performances:
Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Celebrations: From November 27 to December 3, the hotel will host various festivities, including daily performances of the traditional Al Ayala dance, themed afternoon teas, and limited-edition menus across its restaurants. On December 2, a drone show will light up the beachfront at 9:00 PM, replacing the traditional fireworks.
Abu Dhabi Air Show: Experience a breathtaking air show at the Abu Dhabi Corniche, featuring fighter jets performing aerial displays. The show is expected around 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM on December 2.
4. Art and Fashion Exhibitions:
Curated Playlist at Manarat Al Saadiyat: From December 1 to 4, this immersive event will feature over 70 regional and international brands, including 20 Emirati-owned brands, showcasing fashion, beauty, and handcrafted expertise. The event aims to celebrate Emirati pride and craftsmanship.
5. Family-Friendly Activities:
StuDIYo Lab at Abu Dhabi Mall: Offering a unique stone carving program for children, where young creators can engage in carving soapstone under the guidance of experienced instructors, turning them into imaginative designs.
