Did you know that;
Ripley's Aquarium of Canada in Toronto, Ontario was originally planned in Niagara Falls, but was eventually built in Toronto. Construction began in 2011 and the aquarium opened to the public in 2013.

The project was a collaboration between the federal, provincial, and municipal governments

The aquarium cost almost CA$130 million to build

The aquarium opened to the public in October 2013
Location
The aquarium is located at the base of the CN Tower in downtown Toronto
Animals
The aquarium has over 20,000 aquatic animals representing more than 450 species
Some of the animals include sharks, rays, tropical fish, and sea turtles.
