Rambalkoshe bring a new concept to our Concerpts, and together with Golden Apricot, invite you to a movie screening of Sirāt, followed by the live concert of .

On July 16, during the Golden Apricot festival, we will watch the movie Sirāt at Moscow Cinema at 19:00, co-written and directed by . The movie had its world premiere in the main competition of the 78th Cannes Film Festival where it won the Jury Prize.

After the movie screening, at 21:30, at Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall, we will proceed with the live concert of Kangding Ray, the artist who authored the bass-driven electronic music for the movie and won the Cannes Soundtrack Prize.

Concerpt is a project by Rambalkoshe, dedicated to hosting solo performances of artists who have profoundly influenced the evolution of music.

Հուլիսի 16-ին՝ ժամը 19:00-ին, «Ոսկե ծիրան» միջազգային կինոփառատոնի ընթացքում մենք կցուցադրենք Օլիվեր Լաքսի հեղինակած Sirāt ֆիլմը Մոսկվա կինոթատրոնում: Ֆիլմը առաջին անգամ ցուցադրվել է Կաննի 78-րդ կինոփառատոնի գլխավոր մրցույթում, որտեղ շահել է Ժյուրիի մրցանակը:

Ֆիլմի ցուցադրությունից հետո՝ ժամը 21:30-ին, Առնո Բաբաջանյան համերգասրահում տեղի կունենա ֆիլմի կոմպոզիտոր Կանգդինգ Ռեյի լայվ համերգը, որը շահել է Կաննի երաժշտական մրցանակը։

Rambalkoshe, the museum, the house, and already a residency, is more than just a place to gather and share experiences together. This summer, the house will become home for Sofia and Luiza, who are coming from Brazil for one month.

Sofia and Luiza are visiting Armenia to continue the research for the feature film In The Coffee Grounds. The film explores their identities within the Argentine and Brazilian diasporas, focusing on the connection between diaspora and homeland.

Sofia Sahakian, born in Buenos Aires and living in Brazil, is a director, producer, and actress. She directed short films Tu foi tu (2024) and Fin de Nós (2023).

Luiza Calagian is a Brazilian director and cinematographer, known for her award-winning shorts and upcoming feature Arrow for a Stone Heart.

We are happy to hand our house over to our guests and host them with the Rambalkoshe crue.

In the lead-up to the Notations music laboratory, German artist and composer Robert Lippok (formerly of To Rococo Rot) will be in Yerevan for an evening of lecture and performance at WOODS on June 12.

The evening also features Glacier Music, an international project that transforms the sounds of melting glaciers into musical compositions. Armenian artist will perform his contribution to the project, blending sonic ecology and experimental form.

To close the night, Lippok, Karoyi, and Andriesh Gandrabur (hosq Foundation) come together for an improvised performance rooted in deep listening and shared composition — a dialogue between sound, thought, and presence.

One of the standout events of the past year at Rambalkoshe Contemporary Art Museum was Jan Jelinek’s concert at the Drama Theater. Inviting Jan Jelinek to Armenia - thanks to our partnership with the Goethe-Zentrum - was another step in introducing the audience to a form of music that transcends conventional definitions - it could just as easily be architecture or mathematical analysis.

His music defies categorization, moving beyond the performer and dissolving the barriers between the listener, the space, the routine, and the entirety of things.
What made this event even more remarkable was not just the packed venue, but people standing throughout the concert, fully immersed - an unprecedented sight in Armenia for performances of this kind. A huge thank you to Jan Jelinek for his music and the audience for believing in it. And the good news? We have got more groundbreaking concerts coming up this year, so stay tuned!

Ռամբալկօշէ ժամանակակից արվեստի թանգարանի անցած տարվա առանցքային իրադարձություններից մեկը Յան Յէլինեկի համերգն էր Դրամատիկական թատրոնում։ Գյոթե կենտրոնի հետ գործակցությամբ, Յանին Հայաստան հրավիրելը ևս մեկ քայլ էր՝ հանդիսատեսին հասցնելու այն երաժշտությունը, որը հանգիստ կարող էր լինել ճարտարապետություն կամ մաթեմատիկական անալիզ։

Երաժշտություն, որը ոչ միայն չես կարող կաղապարել ոճով, այլև դուրս է գալիս նվագողից ու ջարդում լսողի, դահլիճի, առօրյաի ու առհասարակի սահմանները։ Իսկ առանցքային էր այդ իրադարձությունը նաև այն պատճառով, որ ոչ միայն դահլիճը լեփ-լեցուն էր, այլև մարդիկ կանգնած էին լսում, ինչը Հայաստանում նման համերգների դեպքում սովորաբար չտեսնված երևույթ է։ Այնպես որ, շնորհակալություն Յանին իր երաժշտության համար, իսկ հանդիստատեսին՝ հավատալու։ Այս տարի մենք դեռ մի քանի այդպիսի համերգներ ունենք պլանավորած։

Rambalkoshe and Woods Center invite you to the Woods Center (and forest) on May 25 for the "Save the Vinyl" event to celebrate music.

This day-to-night event will take place continuously from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, spreading across various halls and terraces of the center. We’ll be hosting everyone from renowned musicians to amateur vinyl collectors – all under one roof.

On our main stage – the large terrace – we’ll feature Armenian and international vinyl DJs, including , , , , , , , , and .

In the main hall, you’ll hear concerts that will be recorded for a limited vinyl release under the .deeg label. Performers include .officiall , , .then , and .

In the small hall, vinyl collectors will showcase their collections, accompanied by short interviews conducted by . We’ll listen to the collections of .chakhoian , .yes , , , and . High-quality sound will be provided by .audio .

Through our partner Easywallet, you can purchase one of the 500 early bird tickets for 5000 AMD. An additional 100 tickets will be available at the door for 8000 AMD.

What’s to eat and drink?

On the terrace, Nönö Restaurant and Bakery will provide food. Three locations across Woods will feature special bars by Jack Daniel’s, offering exclusive cocktails crafted with Jack Daniel’s Apple and Honey for the event.

And for one day only, the second terrace will transform into a Voch Luys Voch Mut open-air café serving specialty coffee—from day to night.

Only on May 25, we’ll also host The Main Design Store with a selection of Armenian designs, Dig Store and Garage Records with vinyls, Kanach Kakach with zines, books, and clothing, and Cosmotheca with Marvis.

Spend the last Sunday of spring at Woods and enjoy music in the forest.

Installed in November 2023 for Rambalkoshe’s 7th anniversary, Roman Grigoryan’s “Dragoneau” fountain has become one of the centerpieces of the museum.

by copying an interrupted dialogue
within a bigger medium,

James Massiah is a poet and musician from London, whose work blends spoken word with electronic and experimental beats. His unique style, featured in projects like Natural Born Killers and collaborations with artists such as Massive Attack, explores themes of modern life, philosophy, and identity through rhythm and verse.

4 Stages, 26 Artists, 3 Exhibitions, and 30 Hours of Nonstop Music. .koshe and are kicking off the New Year this way and invite you to join the marathon.

In fact, this is all you need to know before heading to Hayfilm, but there are a few additional details worth mentioning. First, the stages are very different from each other, and so is the music. The most intense period will be the first 7 hours. There are three exhibitions, and we especially encourage you to spend time exploring the legendary cinematographer Levon Atoyants' photographs. Displaying them at Hayfilm Film Studio is not only an honor for us, but also a great responsibility.

And finally, you will all be visiting the newly renovated for the first time. If you thought you knew where you were going and what you would see/hear, you are, fortunately, terribly mistaken.

Ramvalkoshe ժամանակակից արվեստի թանգարանը ու ՄՈՍՏ-ը այսպես են սկսում նոր տարին ու ձեզ էլ են առաջարկում միանալ մարաթոնին։ Փաստացի սա էր այն ամենը, ինչ պետք է իմանալ մինչև Հայֆիլմ հասնելը, բայց մի քանի ճշգրտող փաստ էլ կա․ նախ՝ շատ տարբեր են սթեյջերը, տարբեր են նաև երաժշտությունները, ու ամենաինտենսիվ շրջանը լինելու է առաջին 7 ժամը: Ցուցահանդեսները երեքն են, ու հորդորում ենք հատկապես երկար ուսումնասիրել լեգենդար կինոօպերատոր Լևոն Աթոյանցի լուսանկարները, որոնք հենց Հայֆիլմ կինոստուդիայում ցուցադրելը մեզ համար ոչ միայն պատիվ է, այլև մեծ պատասխանատվություն։ Եվ ի վերջո՝ դուք բոլորդ էլ առաջին անգամ եք գալու հիմնովին վերանորոգված Հայֆիլմ կլաստեր: Եթե ձեզ թվում էր՝ գիտեք՝ ուր եք գալու ու ինչ եք տեսնելու/լսելու, ապա դուք, բարեբախտաբար, չարաչար սխալվում եք։
