Kathi’s 6. Boogie & Blues Festival line up and news

Internationale Größen der Boogie Woogie & Blues Musik zeigen am 19.09.2020 ihr Können. Zu diesem Anlass wird wieder kräftig in die Tasten gehämmert, denn Kathi's Boogie & Blues Festival feiert das 6-jährige Bestehen!! Für grandiose Musiker, ein abwechslungsreiches Programm und kleine Überraschungen für alle Gäste ist auch dieses Jahr wieder gesorgt. Gespannt sein kann man hierbei auf die beiden Nachwuchskünstler Johannes Trieb, 18, aus den Tirol, und Nirek Mokar, 17, aus Frankreich. Der talentierte Nachwuchskünstler Johannes Trieb ist ein aufstrebender Musiker in der Tiroler Musikszene und begeistert Jung und Alt durch seine Art, Klavier zu spielen. Besonders liegt ihm „stride piano“, Stilrichtungen wie Blues, Swing oder Boogie kommen allerdings nicht zu kurz. Der junge Franzose, Nirek Mokar, wurde schnell zum kleinen Liebling der Boogie-Fans von Paris. Wenn er gerade nicht im berühmten Caveau de la Huchette spielt, tritt er auf zahlreichen Festivals in Frankreich und auch im Ausland auf und begeistert die Zuhörer. Dieses Jahr mit dabei ist auch Ludwig Seuss, der Pianist und Akkordeon Virtuose. Er ist seit 1987 als Mann an den Keyboards festes Mitglied der Spider Murphy Gang. Mit seiner eigenen Band vermischt Ludwig Seuss klassischen Piano-Boogie mit Jump-Blues und Louisiana-Rock`n`Roll. Seit Ludwig Seuss auch noch den Zydeco aus New Orleans importiert hat und die Band hinter ihm tobt wie im tiefsten Sumpf Louisianas, ist der Erfolg für diese Band und ihren extrem tanzbaren Sound nicht mehr aufzuhalten. Ein weiterer Stargast an diesem Abend ist Bob Malone, geboren in New Jersey, USA. Er ist der Pianist der weltbekannten John Fogerty Band. Der talentierte und sehr vielseitige Musiker tourt nebenbei auch als Solokünstler durch die Welt und arrangierte viele Songs für weltbekannte Musiker, wie unter anderem für die Sängerin Avril Lavigne. Auf dem Album „Give more Love“ von Ringo Starr ist Bob Malone als Pianist zu hören. Aus Spanien kommt Lluís Coloma, der mit Energie und Leidenschaft seiner musikalischen Fantasie auf einem Klavier freien Lauf lässt. Er verschmilzt auf natürliche Art verschiedene Stile mit Blues und Boogie Woogie. Sein Repertoire, die Liebe zur Musik und sein Humor verspricht den Zuhörern ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Jean-Paul Amouroux wohnhaft in Paris, entdeckte den Boogie Woogie mit 14 Jahren und durfte noch mit Legenden wie z.B. Jay McShann, Sammy Price und Memphis Slim spielen. Für sein Album „Orchestral Boogie Vol 1“ erhielt er 1989 den „Prix du Hot Club de France“. Er ist einer der Mibegründer und musikalischer Direktor des international angesehenen „Festival International de Boogie Woogie de La Roquebrou“. Weitere Programmfixpunkte sind Christoph Steinbach, der Boogie Wolf aus Kitzbühl, Silvan Zingg, der Boogie Botschafter aus der Schweiz, mit seinem Trio sowie einige Special Guests und die Begrüßungsband hot blend. Tanzbegeisterte dürfen sich vor allem auf die beiden Boogie Weltmeister aus der Slowakei freuen, die mit ihrer Akrobatik und ihrem Charme das Publikum begeistern. Auch auf die Dixieband "Dixielander PORG Volders" darf man gespannt sein. Diese Band besteht aus Schülern des PORG Volders und entstand aus dem Freifach Instrumentalmusik und wird von Kathi's 6. Boogie & Blues Festival im Rahmen eines Auftrittes mit Freude unterstützt. Um das 6. Boogie Festival wieder richtig zu feiern, verwöhnt das Festival Team an der Bar alle Gäste vor dem Konzert und in der Pause mit köstlichen Snacks und Getränken und der Festival-Starkoch Rudi begeistert die Besucher mit seinem einmaligen Jambalaya!!

International greats of the Boogie Woogie & Blues music show their skills at the Boogie Festival on September 19th in 2020. Kathi's Boogie & Blues Festival celebrates the 6th Edition!! We have great musicians, a varied program and little surprises for all guests!! You can look forward to the two young artists Johannes Trieb, 18, from Tyrol, and Nirek Mokar, 17, from France. The talented young artist Johannes Trieb is an aspiring musician in the Tyrolean music scene and inspires young and old with his art of playing the piano. He particularly likes "step piano", styles such as blues, swing or boogie. The young Frenchman, Nirek Mokar, quickly became the little darling of the boogie fans of Paris. When he is not playing in the famous Caveau de la Huchette, he performs at numerous festivals in France and abroad and inspires the audience. Also Ludwig Seuss, the pianist and accordion virtuoso. He has been a member of the Spider Murphy Gang since 1987. With his own band, Ludwig Seuss mixes classic piano boogie with jump blues and Louisiana rock'n'roll. Since Ludwig also imported Zydeco from New Orleans and left the band behind, as in the deepest sense of Louisiana, the success for this band and their extremely danceable sound is unstoppable. Bob Malone, born in New Jersey, USA, is another star guest that evening. He is the pianist of the world famous John Fogerty band. To properly celebrate the 6th Boogie Festival, the festival team at the bar offers all guests delicious snacks and drinks before the concert and during the break, and festival celebrity chef Rudi delights visitors with his unique Jambalaya !!
