The basic idea of our community (AKV – alternative music and art society) was to create a communicative platform for artists and musicians from different alternative trends. We also try to advance them with management, promotion and different kinds of events. One of our important targets is to accomplish events from alternative music in the South of Lower Austria. The attendance figures shows us t
hat the demand of such alternatives events exists, so we decided to make every year a big event/festival called “CONNECT” (www.connect-festival.at) and also smaller regional events. To come closer our targets we created our music-label “Mouvement Records” in May 2007 and soon the first band, named SIC, joined our label. Now we are working on a music clip and on a CD with Chrizondamic, a reggae-hiphop artist from baden. We are also appropriate for management and booking. Another activity of the “AKV community” is to organize events and create presentations for NON-profit organizations. .. Die Grundidee des Vereins ist es, eine kommunikative Plattform für Künstler und Musiker aus verschiedensten alternativen Richtungen zu schaffen. Weiters versuchen wir, diese durch Veranstaltungen, Management und Promotion zu fördern. Eins der wichtigsten Ziele ist es vorerst in den Bezirken Baden/Mödling/Wr.Neustadt/St. Pölten/Wien interessante und innovative Veranstaltungen speziell in alternative Richtungen organisieren und durchzuführen. Das die Nachfrage für Events dieser Art besteht, haben diverse Veranstaltungen bestätigt(Connect Festival, Clash of the Titans,...) Anfang Mai 2007 wurde ein Label namens Mouvement Records gegründet, um unseren Zielen ein Stück näher zu kommen. Prompt kam auch schon die erste Band zu uns und fügte sich in unser Label ein - SIC (näheres unter www.sicmusic.at). Aktuell wird mit Chrizondamic (Reggae/HipHop Artist) an einem CD-Releas sowie an einem Musikvideo gearbeitet, weiteres ist das Label auch für Managment und Booking verantwortlich.
