JHONNIKARMA I SPEAK THROUGH MUSIC Throughout the years, he has mastered various styles of music, hence the difficulty to pinpoint him on a specific genre.

JHONNIKARMA is a 46 years old Belgian Progressive House / Deep House / Tech House / House / Progressive Trance / Melodic House / Techno / Drum & Bass / Hardcore & Oldschool Retro DJ. When he was just 13 years old, back in 1992, he broadcasted the LA BOUM DECA DANCE radio show on a local radio station. He became one of the youngest DJ's to play on a radio station back then. adio show ran from 1992 until 1997 on different radio stations throughout the years. The music he played whas a mixture of Euro Dance - Italo Dance - Euro House - House and Hip-House trax. As the years progressed, he switched to genres such as Trance - Hard Trance - Techno and Rave music. He also played at small venues & parties such as Graffix, Alcazar, Orange Club, Rave Village, Samambaia, Beach Dance etc. However in 2016 his life changed forever. That's when doctors discovered after he had a stroke that he had 2 brain aneurysms & a brain AVM (short for arteriovenous malformation). He underwent an open brain surgery (craniotomy) to remove the AVM in his brain and an endovascular stent-graft / clipping surgery to treat his brain aneurysms. But as a result of complications, he suffered from a collapsed lung and almost bled to death on the operating table when surgeons removed the AVM and accidentally struck an artery. He had to receive 2 litres of blood and is now paralyzed (hemiplegic) in his right arm/leg due to oxygen shortage, ending up in a wheelchair. In total, he spent almost 3 years of his life in hospitals and a neurorehabilitation center. But despite all the hurdles on his path, he can't stop DJ'ing. Because music gives him the strength to on.
