Story story?
I heard you say story come😊.
Once upon a time there was a king who called all his subjects and said he had one request. He who would be able to give him what he was asking for would be granted riches.
So he asked his subjects to give him something that when he is happy, he would feel sad when he saw it. Similarly when sad by sees it, he would feel happy.
The subjects were in awe at the king's request. Many tried unsuccessfully.
In due time one man came forward and presented the king with a ring. On the ring it was inscribed NOTHING IS PERMANENT.
When happy he would know that happiness is not permanent and feel sad. Likewise when sad, he would be reminded that nothing is permanent and his spirit would be uplifted.

No matter what you are going through, it may be hard now but it is not permanent so have some hope.
If you are living your best life now, its not permanent, stuff happens, invest in some anchors to give you the ability to navigate the tough times.

Ever wondered why the same people who shouted "hosanna hosanna" would shout "crucify him" less than a week later? Why a disciple would be ready to take a bribe to snitch on the man he had spent 3 years of his life with?
Its disappointment. Jesus disappointed them. He failed to live up to their expectations. At the time Israel was under the rule of the Romans and they were really oppressed. And Romans were very cruel, that's why they would crucify anyone who went against their rule to hang there as an example to others who dared defy their authority.
And the Jews thought Jesus would either politically or miraculously bring the Roman reign to an end and bring them freedom. If he could perform miracles he can surely kill all the Romans with a single word or lead an uprising to topple the Roman rule.
Instead he went on to whip his own jews in the temple and saying he will destroy the temple,very symbol of God's presence in the city. For them the symbol was more important than God himself. This irked them and when they got a chance to get rid of him, they didn't hesitate. That's why they preferred Barabbas because he was a political activist / revolutionary.
To them living this life in freedom was better than living an eternity of freedom.
And today the same disappointment continues. People hate Jesus because they feel that Jesus doesn't intervene in their financial and political situations. To them that Jesus of eternity is not important if they are currently being oppressed by sickness and poverty. That's why we are twisting the gospel so that we can make Jesus attractive. But in the process people become frustrated and hate church the more because of putting prosperity before eternity.
Jesus said "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness and the rest shall be added unto you" Jesus main mission was establishing the kingdom of God in the hearts of men. But men don't see the kingdom of God in their hearts as priority. They want to be free to do whatever their hearts desire than seek the kingdom of God, after all it can wait.
To Jesus, believing in him was more important than healing you. And that's why He kept saying, your faith has made you whole. It is your faith in me (Jesus) that has made you whole. When the boat was perishing, the disciple asked Jesus "don't you care that we are going to perish?" and he responded "where is your faith?" The priority wasn't the circumstances but their faith, because if your faith is right your circumstances can change.
Has Jesus disappointed you? Check your priorities, do they match his?

I could tell you about money, but it will end at death.
I could tell you about education, but it will end at death
I can tell you about all the things that this world has to offer, but they are so temporary that when you die they become useless.
But I choose to tell you about SALVATION, this will transition even to eternity.
God himself says that there's another life after this one, and if we believe in his son Jesus, we shall become heirs of eternity with Him.
This is not a mob thing, its not a family thing, it is a personal thing. You make your own choice. Forget what everyone is saying or doing and think about your eternal destiny. Make a choice to believe in Jesus and make him your Lord and savior.
For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.
Romans 10:10
If you would like to give your life to Christ recite these words
Lord Jesus, I choose to believe in you this day, that I may be made right with God, and I confess with my mouth that from this minute I have put my faith in Jesus, to be my Lord and savior. Thank you for saving me. I denounce the works of the enemy and choose to live for you only. Write my name in the book of life that after this temporary life, I may spend eternity with you Jesus. Amen.
If you have recited that prayer believe it in your heart that now you are saved. Get a church where you can fellowship and grow in the word. Go and testify that you are now saved.
