Introducing the invited artists for GELEE #5, 3.3.2023, Fluc (upstairs!)
Welia is a Vienna-based DJ and producer. She has performed in various local and international clubs as well as festivals, hosts her own radio show on Swedish Retreat Radio and in 2022 released her EP "Medusa" on Morbit Exile. Welia's musical taste is broad, which reflects in her distinct productions, always characterized by unexpected drum patterns and her own distorted and sometimes heavily manipulated vocals. Expect a creative journey through experimental, abstract UK techno, breakbeat and ambient sounds.
