Winter school holidays with five kids, while running a business, having a fifo hubby & also trying to be a more present friend… Sanity is possibly non existent at the moment but managed to get a fair amount of work pushed out today! Thank goodness I’ll have my helpers back next week for week two of holidays.

What a wild ride you have been! We have experienced the highs and lows, the lessons small biz teaches, made new biz besties, expanded our products, planned workshops for the coming year, learnt to appreciate and support small businesses as much as we can. We have had extremely late nights, early morning starts, experienced severe burn out, delivered over 100 arrangements & gift boxes, had even more picked up, learnt how important boundaries in business are and learnt just how fun being your own boss really can be. Running a business is not for the light hearted but it is absolutely worth it all!
After looking through this years pieces we have seen just how much growth we have had and we really can’t wait to see what we create in 2023.

This custom was for a lucky Mama that’s about to give birth but was keeping the sex of bubs a surprise.
I was asked to make something neutral but make sure there were some things for bubs and some things for Mama, also requested was a bottle of bubbles for when bubs was here so Mama could celebrate!

This sound was so fitting when I found it tonight. I was listening to a podcast today about how many women want to start something but fear of rejection or failure stops them from chasing after their dreams.
My advice to those Queen’s contemplating it but haven’t yet because of the fear, just do it! Honestly, once you do you will wish you had done it sooner. You don’t have to be the best, it will be bloody hard but ohh so worth it. Comparison is an absolute thief. This is a huge world, there is room for everyone. I wish every woman would see other women for their worth and not see them as their competitor. Find your niche and start now! It’s never too early or too late. Just start and go from there.

Too much coffee or no such thing?
Sunday night came around way too fast! I didn’t even get to put my feet up this weekend but it was productive so I won’t complain. Please remember that I do try to keep my weekends for my family and business for business hours during the week. I received a few quite abrupt msgs wanting instant replies but I can only do so much being a fifo wife and Mama of 5 who are all home on weekends and playing multiple sports. I will always get back to everyone as soon as possible on a Monday if you do send a weekend enquiry through. ✨
