We have some super exciting news to share! 🎉
After one of the busiest years of our lives, and a decision we’ve been trying to make for several weeks now 🥺 - we’ve decided it’s time to step back all together and pass on the batton. All soft play has moved to a new home & We can’t wait to officially share this with you when everything is ready.
(All existing bookings will be honoured and they will be remaining in the southern suburbs of Adelaide) All of our backdrops and balloons are for sale and we’re packing away the pump.

What’s next for us?
We look forward to dusting off our camper trailer and spending some quality time with the one and only, little Livvy and of course soaking up the summer with our little friends & family down the beach. We are beyond thankful for everything we have learnt, all the opportunities we were given but most of all, the incredible people we have met. We have made some new lifetime friends that we wouldn’t have met if it wasn’t for Little Livvy.

We will continue to support the new owners in every way possible - and we know the customers we’ve met will be just as supportive!

And this is where we take a step back, take a breath, and truly appreciate what we’ve achieved. 🌻

But before another day passes, I need to acknowledge and thank our admin manager Mel for all her hard work this year. I truly couldn’t, and can’t do it without you. You really helped us out in a time of need, reignited my passion when I needed it, and truly believe in me and backed us. I’m so thankful for my new friend.

And secondly we need to thank a very special person in our life, Nanna Squeeze. From day 1 she has shared every single one of our posts. Something so simple (and free) meant so much to us and went further then we realised. Thank you for always supporting our small family business ❤️

Over the next few weeks we’re only filling limited (pre arranged 😂) bookings. We are trying to keep things as simple as possible and as close to home so we can truly spend quality family time. We’re taking a strict break in November for RnR & to celebrate miss Liv - then from December our soft play will be home events only, no more helium balloons, and will focus on our acrylic signage

To our friends and family, thank you for all our help, for being so patient with us, and or your endless support.
Also, you can start inviting us to things again now ☺️

This weekend I met the sweetest little girl I’ve met in a long time. Her manners and the way she was just so pleased with everyone around her. She was beyond appreciative of her special little presents & I was just as excited to see them! This was a huge weekend for us - physically, mentally and emotionally, but I can’t help but smile when I think of my morning with this family. 🤍 beyond greatful for what I get to do and the people we meet. Also, no such thing as too much pink. 💖

Freya is one lucky little girl 🤍 her older brother came to me and said ‘Thankyou for helping with my baby sisters birthday’ and my heart absolutely melted. Both older siblings were hands on deck to help the second we walked in and we both walked away saying what amazing kids they were. We were the lucky ones to be included in Freya’s special day. AND they all wore amazing colourful outfits too!

It is with a very heavy (and exhausted) heart that we have made some decisions regarding Little Livvy, effective immediately.

The last 10 months has been an absolute dream. Never did we anticipate that we would be at this capacity with the demand that we have - we even had to hire Mel just to help with our admin + work/life balance! Our conversations last week was for a third set of equipment to keep up with demand. However, for us currently, it’s unrealistic.
We both work full time in careers that we’ve been striving to achieve, and that deserve our full effort and attention. We also have Olivia - our heart and soul which because of work and the business we get so limited time with on weekends. And we need to look after ourself and our health - both physically and mentally. We have tried asking for more help with deliveries/collections. We’re not sure what other options we have left 🥺

With this all being said - we’re not packing up and saying goodbye ; we’re just making a conscious decision to reduce our output.

We still have 2 backdrops to paint, a third to build and an amazing new cake stand to add to our collection.
We will still continue to build and grow.

We’re also being conscious that winter is almost here and the weather is so unpredictable + the equipment isn’t cheap should it’s be damaged and need repairs.

NEW SOFT PLAY CHANGES : All future bookings are for home events OR full day venue only. Delivery is between 8-10am, and collection between 4-6pm and we are only servicing the southern suburbs of Adelaide.

How can you help us? (We can only ask 🤷🏻‍♀️)
•Please have all equipment packed up in an easily accessible place (eg. At the front door) - this includes balls either in the ball pit or in their container.
•Please understand that we’re still trying to offer the most affordable service we can - but we take this seriously too and we have overhead expenses to cover (liability insurance isn’t cheap!)
•Please provide as much information as you can when making your booking.
•Please remember we are people too. Manners are free. We are trying to help you make your day special!

POSITION AVAILABLE

We’re looking for help on weekends! Are you able to help with our soft play? 🌈

In order to continue progressing with this amazing little business but still having a nice balance of work / family time we’re at a point now that we’d like help with collecting our equipment.

•Work is physically demanding, so will need to be fit enough to load equipment into trailer. Sometimes stairs are required.
•Need to use your own vehicle - with a towbar for the trailer.

Ryan and I would still deliver the equipment + set up and clean in the mornings. We’re then looking for someone to collect the trailer from our place and collect the equipment (soft play + backdrops etc) safely in the afternoon & return home.

This will take 2-3 hours on a Saturday and/or Sunday afternoon. Happy to negotiate where required.
Not all days have 2 collections. Sometimes less, sometimes more. (We are looking to expand soon too). We really need someone who we know is going to respect our equipment + props.

We got a new trailer yesterday (isn’t she pretty!) and I need to get some signs up so people know who I am. 🙋🏻‍♀️

I am looking for a ‘beginner’ graphic designer to help me create some beauty to advertise who we are!

I’m asking for a beginner because once upon a time, not so long I was a beginner desperate for an opportunity to get a break.

Hello!
I had never felt the need to introduce myself but recently things have changed and our team has expanded so we thought we would both say hello.

I’m Kim, my partner Ryan and of course our daughter Liv. Together we’ve owned and been running Little Liv since July 2021. Kim works full time in workers comp, Ryan works full time as a Builder+Plumber & Liv is busy being a toddler, learning and doing all toddler things. In our spare time Kim loves to socialise and entertain, Ryan is a passionate port supporter & Liv has recently discovered Bluey, which were not even mad about.

is getting busy! Our customers are getting more creative and we’re getting more and more enquiries - which we’re eternally grateful for, but can’t do it on our own!

Meet Mel. You might have already noticed her name on your email responses, and wow, she’s really pulling me into line!
Mel, (her husband Aaron and her little guy Mason) have joined the Little Liv family.
Mel is also an Intensive Care nurse, but has taken on the extra gig of managing our Admin and bookings.

We said this year we want to get bigger and do better. We want to produce better quality and still provide the best service we can. We know the value of having a one-stop shop to provide the extra bits and pieces at an affordable price. Please remember, we are mums and we are trying our best too.
