Did you know we run beginner’s Pottery Wheel Sessions every Saturday? We have 3 timeslots: 10am, 11.30am & 1pm. Our sessions are all about having fun and trying something different, absolutely no experience necessary! One of our fantastic instructors will be on hand to guide you every step of the way as we take you through the basics of wheel throwing.You’ll get two chunks of clay to try and kiln firing is optional.$49 per head without kiln firing, or $69 per head all inclusive. You can even come back to paint your item (like this customer has) once it’s been kiln fired at no additional charge! We supply aprons but also suggest wearing something other than your Sunday best! Have you painted a piece at Pottering Around more than 3 months ago?! This post might be for you! This is just a tiny snippet of our collection shelves which are positively overflowing. If we have sent you more than one collection text / reminder then it’s time to come and collect your piece! We hold on to our customer’s pieces as long as possible as it breaks our heart to dispose of your gorgeous and unique art BUT we have pieces on these shelves dating back to 2023 and it’s time for a clean out. We are open regular hours Wednesday- Sunday this week before our Christmas closure so please come in this week to save your piece from eviction! If you can’t get to us before Sunday, please DM us to arrange postage.
