OOOOH it was a hot one, but such a gorgeous ceremony with the most stunning florals that somehow coped in the heat. At the lovely setting that is Wine we heard that Jess loves doing life with Locky, especially since he’ll say yes to whatever wild idea she throws his way. She does, however, wish he didn’t fall asleep three minutes into a movie or snore quite so enthusiastically.

And we learnt that Locky loves how safe and at ease Jess makes him feel, how much fun she brings into every moment, and how anywhere she is instantly becomes a good time…...although he just quietly wishes she had a touch more patience at the self-checkout.

Thanks for letting me celebrate my last wedding of 2025 with you ###

Finally. After a short engagement of only… 13 years, and a relationship of 18, they decided it was about time, tying the knot in the wildest of weather at the

Rocking an afro wig, bell-bottom jeans, and a silky shirt - Lee was apparently irresistible to Rachel in a stunning tie-dyed dress at a lacrosse social function, where between the disco dancing and questionable fashion choices, they shared their very first kiss.

Then this was outdone by their first date over a Korean BBQ where Lee convinced Rachel to try the ‘delicious beef’ that turned out to be ox tongue. I mean nothing says love like tricking your date with offal!

Laughs a plenty is at the core of their relationship and exactly what was needed to stay in high spirits and laugh through unseasonably wet weather that saw them marry under umbrellas in the rain and the pond at the gardens bursting its banks and creating a creek right through the ceremony space!

Congrats guys, despite the weather I had a ball and the smiles on your faces suggest that you did to.

The couple who get genuinely excited when the temperature drops and the rain starts falling. Winter is their season. Rainy days, fresh air, a good excuse to snuggle up. So a winter wedding in the always glorious gardens of , was the perfect setting to say ‘I do’, complete with a lovely hand-fasting ceremony, and a giant Jenga to enjoy post ceremony, a nod to where it all began, with their love story starting over a giant game of Jenga and growing into something perfectly unbreakable.

For these gorgeous souls it was to allow them to celebrate their day their way, a beautiful cultural celebration that didn’t need to include the legal bits, we did that in private separately.

Who doesn’t love a cosy little elopement at a cute BnB in Victor Harbor. Originally just a crowd of 6, but then poor Lisa’s bestie got COVID and so live streaming it was with the mobile phone stuck in the fence to hold it in place! And in stepped their gorgeous photographer Simon Bills Photography to also be their witness along with Lisa’s brother

It was such a beautiful and intimate moment, with some of the loveliest vows I have heard. These two were simply made to be together and they got such joy in celebrating their wedding their way.

Thanks for including me in such a special chapter of your lives.

A slow burn of a love story that arrived at a beautiful moment under the towering gum trees of Woodstock Wine

A first date in Glenelg with Simon ever the conversationalist leaving Abby wondering if he’d ever take a breath. Their second date some months later resulted in a romantic goodbye kiss that ended up somewhere between Abbey’s ear and her cheeks, a move inspired by affectionate grandparents everywhere! And then after 5 wonderful months together, Simon set sail exploring every far flung corner of the globe, with a Christmas message seeing them find their way back together. Simon had finally found the person he wanted to come home to and Abbey fell hard for the thoughtful and attentive person who would do anything to make her happy.

The laughs we had throughout the ceremony really set the tone for the rest of the night. I had so much fun I lingered long after the ceremony finished, happily chatting to their down to earth friends, welcomed like I’d known them forever.
