These two are each other’s everything and seeing first hand the beautiful loving families that surround them, there is no doubt they have a wonderful future ahead of them.

So whilst the weather Gods were not on our side, the beautiful setting at Inglewood Inn, with such a vibrant colour palette, meant that their day was truly special.

And what a journey to this day it was for these two, from simply being in each other’s company at home, to hikes, bike rides and day trips, and those bigger things like exploring Vietnam and adventure-filled weekends away camping in their swag. And let’s not forget the odd idiotic ultra-running event thrown into the mix.

Beth quite literally knew that Dylan was the one from their first date. She texted her friends from the bathroom asking if the first date was too early to fall in love. Spoiler alert - it wasn’t. And Dylan loves Beth’s selflessness, her unwavering support, and her belief in him. A person who is always there to encourage him, whether he’s starting a new business or pushing himself in extreme physical challenges.

~ Ruby and Barney ~

in all its winter glory, was the exquisite setting for the wedding of Ruby and Barney in Aug 2024.

There’s a beautiful concept known as the butterfly effect, which tells us that even the tiniest of actions can lead to significant and transformative effects. The flap of a butterfly’s wings in the Amazon, can cause an earthquake in Japan. Or in Ruby and Barney’s case, the power of dating app Plenty of Fish, creating a profound ripple in the lives of two strangers, shaping a shared journey in unexpected ways, leading them to fall in love, and choosing marriage as the most special and meaningful way to ensure their souls are connected for all of time.

Surrounded by the beautiful roses of Veale Gardens, we witnessed the joining of Caroline and Ashley in marriage, a day that marked the continuation of a journey that began with a simple jazz club encounter and blossomed into a love story for the ages. Years in the planning, we couldn’t have asked for a more glorious spring day for them to say ‘I do’.

A gorgeous spring afternoon at Woodstock Wine Estate, where the vines met the vibrant tales of two perfectly paired souls. In the most stunning blue gown, paired with a hand made silver brooch crafted expertly by Alice, they didn’t just tie the knot, they strung together a beautiful necklace of moments and memories.

Alice and Daniel lovingly crafted each other’s wedding rings, designing and forging them from scratch—a perfect symbol of their unique bond and shared creativity.

And Daniel included in his vows one of the funniest lines I’ve ever heard… “I’m looking forward to growing old together and I know that marrying an Archaeologist means the older I get the better I’ll look to you”.

A historic castle, with enchanting gardens, a perfect reflection of the timeless bond we honoured at the wedding of Cassandra and Ethan. Stepping into marriage, excited about the life they will continue to build together, they dream of starting a family, filling their home with laughter, love, and maybe even a few more cats, and look forward to traveling the world, creating memories in new places, and returning home to the simple joys of being together.

In May 2015, destiny orchestrated a clever setup at a quiz night. Scott and Annika were last minute additions to the team, not a romantic setup at the hands of friends, they were simply there to make up the numbers. But by the end of the night, they didn't just win the quiz—they found the first spark of their relationship.

In the early days of their relationship, Scott and Annika cheekily made great use of their quiz night prizes, going on movie dates, enjoying bottles of wine, and indulging in delicious food. Fast forward 8 years, with an adorable 5mth baby ready for a night time feed, and many adventures under the belt, Scott proposed, and Annika didn’t hesitate to say yes to a partnership that is the very definition of the perfect team.

It all came together beautifully at Plant 4 Bowden, complete with their big beautiful goofball of a Bernese Mountain dog Basil!

Jess and John

On the 8th anniversary of the day they got engaged, surrounded by the wild energy of the Zoo, a place filled with the same excitement, love, and sense of adventure that brought John and Jess together all those years ago, they embarked on the next chapter of their lives as husband and wife. Joined by their three incredibly adorable children, and in the company of their friends and family, we took a trip down memory lane, sharing many laughs and smiles. These two are clearly smitten and very much looking forward to what the future holds.

~ Gabby and Brad ~

On the 8th anniversary of the day they became a couple, against the breathtaking backdrop of the Highland Valley, Gabby and Brad, who became a couple during schoolies shenanigans, tied the knot.

From skipping uni to hang out together in the early days, to a proposal in a spot laden with sentimental significance in the Botanic Gardens, and enduring irks and quirks like Brad’s obsession with fantasy sport, and Gabby’s need to sleep with a zoo of teddy bears, these two are just so perfect together.

Enormous effort went into preparing Brad’s fathers house to host the celebrations and boy did it all come together beautifully on the day, complete with the best ‘just married’ trailer and tractor carriage.

Ever wondered what calibre of celebrant you are getting, well check out my achievements in my ‘day job’ and know that I bring the same, if not more, to my personal business as a marriage celebrant!

Congratulations to me and the most sensational team I’ve ever had the privilege to lead and work alongside of. This week I was flown to Canberra to accept a ‘Secretary’s Award’, the highest level of achievement in the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, for exemplary work in developing an enhanced assurance framework, a new Government commitment in the Migration Strategy to improve skills recognition and assessment.

The Assessing Authority Assurance Team received a ‘Highly Commended’ award in the Delivering with Integrity category, recognising excellence in the development and implementation of high-quality, integrated and evidence-based solutions, in ways consistent with the APS values (Impartial, Committed to Service, Accountable, Respectful, Ethical and Stewardship). Our work was recognised for exceptional results characterised by:
• collaboration, co-design, and consultation,
• prioritising wellbeing of people during delivery,
• actions that uphold the APS values, and
• benefits and improved outcomes for citizens, employees and other stakeholders.

There was a record-breaking 734 nominees and 176 nominations, and I am beyond proud that my team was recognised formally by not just making the shortlist but getting an award.
