Today marks the start of a week dedicated to honouring the invaluable contributions of volunteers across Australia. As we embark on this special week, we're thrilled to share a glimpse into the meaningful work of our volunteers at Nonna's Cucina.
Meet Riccardo, our office coordinator turned volunteer driver for the day, who allowed us to tag along on his very first delivery journey. Marco from Radio Italiana 531 joined as a driver assistant to understand fully what a volunteer duo does on the road.
In this video, Riccardo and Marco not only show us what it means to be a driver for our clients, but also open up about the emotions they experienced throughout the day. From the anticipation in the office to the satisfaction of bringing smiles to those we serve, we gain insight into the diverse roles and responsibilities of our volunteers.
At Nonna’s Cucina, each volunteer plays a vital role in our mission to be a provider of meals and a point of contact to enhance lifestyle choices of people in the community.
