Brought some love home with me from Europe. Vow cards for lovers. These little beauties from Flying Tiger via Perugia 💕

Feeling refreshed and fabulous! Enjoying my tan and hanging onto that “just back from overseas and the world is a beautiful place full of fabulous people, awe and wonder - but Melbourne, hands down, has the best coffee” energy 🙌

Looking forward to coming August weddings - and lots of meetings with couples in the months ahead. Grateful that I have been able to take a super 7 week break… but now it’s back to work!

Giving 2 thumbs up to - a swimming travel holiday group. My trip is based on Lefkada Greece. 5km worth of daily swims visiting 12 islands….SO much fun 💦🙏

Stunning blue waters, spectacular scenery and a great group of active, fun and super friendly swimmers and guides.

Wifi is totally hopeless so apologies for delayed email replies. Hard to take a break when you work for yourself. Sometimes you just have to let go and dive into an adventure.

Antwerp, 1597

Time travelling. Now - En route to Bruge after a glorious few days in Antwerp.

Enjoyed the whole experience exploring, getting lost, finding unplanned treasures, patting doggos, delving into the magical fine art museum - all whilst calling home.

What a treat. Highly recommend this city.

Cheers to part 1 of 2023 wedding season.

And a huge thanks to my wonderfully loved up and lovely couples. I always feel like I get to marry the best couples!

I’m on holidays from now till mid July - heading to Europe (yes I know, along with half of Australia).

Expect the dogs of Europe to get some heavy petting and lots of Insta air time. You know how I roll!

I’ll be checking emails and checking in of course - but also looking forward to a huge exhale and reset, enjoying a well deserved break 💕

Pioneer Women’s Memorial Garden, 2022

Floating in a sea of flowers and flanked by their 14 strong wedding party…Rose and Ben said their I do’s with such love and style.

Being a florist, Rose knew exactly what she wanted for her spring wedding. And boy was it a dream.

Melbourne put on it’s finest four seasons in half an hour - we had glorious sunshine and rain, but simply rolled with it all.

It was actually a pretty magic little moment as we took a breath and transitioned to brollies up. Don’t the clear ones look great!

Handy tip - I had given the heads up that I would need someone to hold an umbrella for me too. (Lucky there were 14 people in the wedding party on hand to help!

Georgia was so down to earth, organised and patient. We clicked from the get go on our first meeting. Her soothing voice is so pleasant to listen to during our ceremony and matched the heartfelt ambiance of the room. She walked us through every step and gave such great pointers.

You can really tell how experienced she is and the amount of attention to detail people usually don't think about. For example, she came with another outfit packed for us to choose from to blend into our theme and added our dried flowers into the marriage certificate envelope which was a nice touch when i opened it the day after the wedding.

Jill and Dev walked in together and mingled with guests while we played some of their favourite tunes and then we all came together to begin. Low key but packed with love.

Happy 8th wedding anniversary 🖤

What an absolute treat having dinner with these two lovers last night.

We had been trying to catch up for ages and magically ended up booking the night after their anniversary.

I don’t get to stay in touch with all of my couples (umm more than 1000 of you!).. whilst I love you all- but Nic & Nick and I had a special connection bonding over Barry, yoga and laughter. I found one of Nics first emails where she asked me to bring my dog to our meeting! Pic number two is them singing opera eith Barry at our rehearsal meeting…bless.

Last night we read over some of their promises and I’m happy to report that Nic is no longer brewing stinky kombucha and Nick is steering Nic away from buffets and Delta Goodrem and towards wineries - amongst many other treasured acts of love, care, joy and kindness.

It hasn’t all been smooth sailing. They have already been tested with the sickness and in health part of the package and know how precious- snd what a privilege it is to love and be loved in return.

After 21 years together these words capture their love

Home again.

Energised and feeling excited for all the weddings coming up.

It’s always interesting where you can find inspiration. Saw an amazing actor/ guide that led us on a walk at Sarah Island off Strahan. She held space like a boss. Loved the way she engaged all of us as she shared stories of convict colony characters, taking us on a journey back in time. Eye contact, involving people, asking questions of us, making us all feel part of it. Gosh she was great……reminded me how special it is to make people feel so connected and included. I’ll keep doing my best to bring this kind of energy to your weddings… 🙏

A winning day at Flemington for these lovers. And a winning review (shared from their honeymoon) made me as happy as hanging out with their pooch Pedro!

And yes I did go and check in on him… took off his tux and watched some telly with him after their ceremony. Turns out he had an air bnb booked across the road from me 👌🏻

It was this day 16 years ago that I sat (bloody terrified) in a room with a doctor and was told I had cancer.

I share this because I feel it’s important that we hear survivor stories and know cancer visits so many of us…in many different ways.

It’s a unique experience for each of us as we ride the waves of fear, embrace the outpouring of love and muddle our way through treatment, upheaval and this new reality...…balancing being strong with humbling surrender. What a teaching, an unravelling and a rebuilding it is..…life in all its messy glory.

Blessed to be here still - sharing some joy, some love and some hope to those who need it xx
