First wedding of the year for 💐

and Dave met with me the day after my last wedding for 2023, and it has been a wonderful journey leading up to their big day!

Every wedding I have been so lucky to be a part of have been different, and for Chloe & Dave, my role was multi-facet. It couldn't have been more fun crafting and bringing their vision to life, setting up for Ceremony, assisted in organising the day including some suppliers & vendors for Ceremony & Reception, manning the beverage station & doing food service 🍷🍺🍻🥂🍾

And being a one-woman band, I had a lot help from so many people that I'm very grateful for 🙏

Lots of love to for everything, especially when we went on a late night adventure the night before the wedding, the morning of to set up and pack down!

Jane & the team at Discovery Park were incredibly amazing - from the moment we booked in to use Sunset Hill and on the day. They were initiative and went above & beyond. Highly recommend the accommodation & venue hire!
kaye.dance - for offering Jarrod & Elkin to help me in the morning!

& Jordan for lending furniture!

- for assisting me with moving furniture to Reception!

I recently donated a few boxes of cushions that I no longer need for events to Alice Springs Animal Shelter! Please see below the Christmas wish list that would be super helpful for the shelter🎄✨

🎄⭐️ FOR CHRISTMAS WE WISH FOR...

EDIT: It is possible to put money straight into our vet bills at the Alice Veterinary Centre. Please contact them for payment options ❤️

The Alice Springs community is fantastic at supporting our shelter and for that we are extremely grateful. The community kindly donates us food and bedding the whole year round❤️ Whenever we put up a post asking for help, we get a lot of people helping us out within the day with food. However, we don’t have any room to put away any physical donations now, so with people asking us what the shelter needs for Christmas, we can say we only have two wishes:

1. Finding a FOREVER HOME for all our shelter animals before Christmas

We had less people come and visit the animal shelter in the last month, and so a lot less animals have been adopted. On top of that, we have had a lot of strays, animals brought in from communities and owner surrenders in the last two weeks.

2. Help in paying our outstanding VET BILLS

We don't really like to ask, but right now we are absolutely drowning in bills and could use monetary donations rather than goods donations. We have several large bills coming in along with our ever-increasing vet bill along with the everyday water, power and maintenance expenses to keep our animals as cool as we possibly can in this weather. Any donations over $2 are fully tax deductible, and we can easily provide you a tax receipt for this.

If you can spare anything at all, please consider donating to the running costs of our shelter.
