Our little pop up picnics events have been a bit quiet the last few months, 🤫 we've had to focus our energies on our big project launching soon on May 20th, slow travel self guided tours, Hidden Lanes. Storytellers including Benjamin Law, Heather Jeong, Valerie Berry and Raghav Handa channel this connection as they recreate their favourite dishes and reveal intimate glimpses into their lives. These are salty, sweet, sour and bitter stories from the heart, infused with memory and lived experience.

Best of all, at the end of each story the audience tastes the dish, completing the experience of the story just revealed.

Gorgeous birthday fun today at the Lakeview Hotel balcony, with our pop-up picnic setup for a 1st birthday party. This package included low picnic tables for 28 people, styling and setup and a beautiful tepee.

I love to give people the opportunity to slow down and share beautiful experiences with family and friends. Our Golden Dreams Christmas picnic is just about ready to book! The picnic experience will be for 4 - 14 people. All you need is to pick up your grazing boxes and arrive!

This weekend Jarrod was feeling sick and down. 2 months into chemo was starting to take its toll (luckily the chemo is just a precautionary measure, he's all in the clear health-wise now!) So I decided to make a high tea lunch with special delicious food to brighten his day! 😍🥂
I rode my bike to the supermarket in the morning and came home to setup High Tea with Seb's help.
Jarrod loved it! And he actually ate heaps too which was great.
Our high tea food was gluten free and low sugar, and went down a treat. If you need any easy and healthy celiac/GF friendly inspiration for your high tea party this was our menu:
doughnuts
Strawberries
flavoured soda water
GF finger sandwiches
GF sausage roll cut into slices
Veggie pieces
Pesto dip
Organic rooibos tea (although usually it is )
brown rice chips

Our high tea set is available to hire for the day as well, DM for more information. You can pick up our beautiful vintage High Tea pack and hold your own joyous high tea with someone who needs cheering up xx

Immerse yourself in this 1870's historical Murder Mystery Party while feasting on sumptuous 3-course meal and wine. 🍷🍛💃🕺 You will be guided by four famous characters from Ballarat's past to solve the mysterious murder, "The Peculiar Demise of William Bailey."

Held as both a Luncheon and Dinner as part of the official Ballarat Heritage Festival program.
