Huge thank you to the fantastic sponsors who supported our Craft, Cookery, Photography and Flowers competitions this year and a big warm thank you to everyone who entered. Thanks to our judges and volunteers for keeping this special part of the Show alive in 2024, we were so impress by the quality and amount of entries this year.

We can not wait for 2025 when the Ballarat Show is back on and in its new home!

Congratulations to Hailiegh Buttigieg and Tanika Ross on their awards at the Ballarat Show Opening Dinner held on Friday night.

Hailiegh won the Junior Show Ambassador Award and Tanika the Rural Ambassador Award. These awards really highlight community and show involvement, talent, creativity and ingenuity of young Victorians. The program engages young citizens to showcase their involvement across their local communities.

The programs allow participants to develop their personal skills through interview experience, on-stage presentation, meeting new people with similar interests and developing interpersonal skills. Both of these deserving winners embody the values of the awards in spades and we congratulate them on their achievements.

What a day for the Ballarat Spring Horse Show! Thanks to our judges, competitors and everyone who attended and thank you for all the lovely messages we have received, it sounds like everyone really enjoyed the event.

A huge thank you to all of our members and guests who attended the annual Ballarat Show Opening Dinner Friday night at the Ballarat Golf Club with 120 people attending.

Tania Archibald was our fabulous guest speaker and our Junior Show Ambassador and Rural Ambassador Awards were presented to Hailiegh Buttigieg and Tanika Ross.

Although the show could not be held in its usual format this year we were thrilled to be able to uphold the tradition of holding our dinner and looking forward to the next exciting chapter of the Ballarat Show.

A huge thank you to the team at the Ballarat Golf Club who are great supporters of our events and to all of the sponsors of the Arts, Craft, Cookery, Photography and Flowers competitions and the sponsors of the Horse Show. We were thrilled with the quality and amount of entries in a year that the traditional show format was not held. A great sign of things to come.

Last night a large crowd attended our 'Traditional Show Week Dinner' held at the Ballarat Golf Club! We were privileged to welcome local home grown talent - Tania Archibald - Chief Executive of Australian Steel Products as our guest speaker for the evening!

Tania had the whole room captivated with her story from being a local farm girl growing up in Windemere to her incredible international career to date 🙌

We thank Tania for her thought provoking speech & helping make last night such a great night! 🤗

We also thank many sponsors, members, volunteers & supporters for coming along and continuing your support during the countdown to the opening of our brand new Ballarat Showgrounds and Events Centre in early 2025 at Mt Rowan 🎉🎉

While we’re sad that the Ballarat Show isn't happening in 2024, we are excited to continue our relocation works at our incredible new Mount Rowan site.

And we can not wait to welcome you all out there for the Ballarat Show in 2025!!
