As I take a moment to pause and reflect on the incredible journey that was 2023, l am filled with gratitude for the growth, the breathtaking travels to some of the most beautiful places, and the connections that blossomed. It's amazing to think that all of this unfolded in just one year, a year that has become a canvas of cherished memories and transformative experiences.

2024 beckons with the promise of new creations, fresh opportunities, and untold adventures.

A field trip to Japan 🇯🇵

I’ve been finding myself at a loss for words to capture the beauty of this place..

Our days started off in a camper van, winding through the alps, where snow kissed landscapes found a special place in my heart.

At freezing temperatures we decided to stay in a traditional cottage, each one seemingly plucked from a storybook, we found ourselves in a charming world.

Beyond the stunning views, what really stuck with me was the genuine warmth of the people. Each encounter revealed the kindness ingrained in Japanese hospitality.

Those chance connections we made on the road have evolved into lasting friendships, and I'm just grateful for the beauty of it all ✨🤍

Field Stories - Waterfalls

Nestled against the ancient trunk and cradled beneath the branches of a historic Royal Windsor Park Oak, which took root in the year 1937, stands Waterfalls Cottage. This charming abode was reconstructed using remnants from a pioneer cottage.

The story of Waterfalls begins with James (Jim) Hunter, who arrived in Basket Range in the 1870s.

The property changed hands in 1938, transitioning to W. J. Burdett, the man who also built Pickers Hut, and eventually, it found its way into the care of the Bishop family. Sadly, the cottage had remained uninhabited for many years, falling into a state of disrepair.

Today, Waterfalls stands as a luxurious and romantic Airbnb. It is a sanctuary where you can fully immerse yourself in history, where the echoes of the past can be seen and felt in every nook. Here, you can savour every moment and forge a deep connection with the enchanting, hidden world that surrounds you. It is a place to rejuvenate your spirit, ignite your imagination, and explore a different dimension of existence
