I thought I'd made a post about this past weekend, but it looks like it's disappeared into the ether, so... take 2!

Saturday was my first time attending Cabonne Community Balloon Glow at the Canowindra International Balloon Challenge and it was a blast! (Pun intended - IYKYK 😁) The balloons were incredible, bright and warm enough to take the chill off the air, but they had a lot of competition from the beautiful glowing and sparkling painted faces wandering the grounds.

Sunday was much warmer, the perfect day for a double birthday party for two of the most gorgeous little girls you could hope to paint (and of course I forgot to get a picture 🤦‍♀️). I *LOVE* having family members join in the fun. What a fantastic way to celebrate together!

What a privilege it was to be at Kelso Community Hub yesterday with Wahluu Health Aboriginal Corporation Bathurst for the opening of Wundirra ("Standing in your own light"). It was wonderful to see so many different organisations come together to celebrate such a fantastic resource for the local community. A special thanks to Shona and her team for all the work they did making all of it possible. Congratulations on a brilliant result, and a tremendously successful event!

As always, the highlight for me was interacting with all the gorgeous little (and not-so-little 😉) people who brightened the whole afternoon with their colourful, sparkly selves. I couldn't ask for better canvases! 🤩😍🤩

After a week focused on family, celebrating Easter and commemorating Anzac Day, it was a very full day returning to facepainting. Fighting off showers with the Oberon Council "Picnic in the Park" at the beautiful Oberon Common, through to the slightly damp (but still awesome!) opening Street Party at Canowindra International Balloon Challenge. Staying bright and colourful, especially on grey days!

Such a gorgeous day for an Easter egg hunt at Stockman's Ridge today. Bunnies, eggs, flowers and rainbows all over the place - all with a fantastic view of the helicopter taking off and landing!

If you're looking for a great place to have a disco party, The Greens on William - Bathurst was the stage for a fantastic birthday for Maggie this weekend. So much fun playing with disco designs and blacklights, especially when I could paint this floral wildcard as a final birthday girl special! Thanks for letting me party with you, Maggie! 🤩🤩

There were bunnies galore at The Greenhouse of Orange today for the Greenhouse Easter Family Fun Day (and a few chicks, dinos, and creepers, just for good measure). Thank goodness the kids found all the eggs quickly, because they wouldn't have lasted long in all that gorgeous autumn sunshine. Congratulations to the organisers for a wonderfully popular and successful community event! 🤩🖌🎨

A very small selection of a very large crowd of gorgeous young people at Millthorpe Markets today. The only downside was the internet dropping out so payment was a bit tricky to navigate, but in spite of that a really beautiful day, in a really beautiful town! 🤩🥰

Autumn was definitely making an appearance this morning at Riverside Markets Bathurst Teddy Bears' Picnic. It couldn't hold out against the bright sunny smiles and talent of the dancers from Promenade Dance School, though, and the cuddly warmth of So. Many. Teddy Bears!! Absolutely gorgeous group of kids and grown-ups stopped by. Thank you all for helping me raise funds towards children's cancer research 🥰.

(On busy days, I can't stop to get the photos that I love, so thank you always to the parents and friends who so kindly send them through to me!)

With the last market cancelled due to bad weather, I'm even more excited to be painting at Millthorpe Markets this Sunday! Weather forecast is looking good so far 🤞🤩. See you there!

The Millthorpe Public School P&C is proud to host our next Millthorpe Markets on Sunday the 6th of April.

Undertaken as a fund raising event by the Millthorpe Public School P&C, the markets are a great opportunity to combine shopping with a beautiful drive in the country and a visit to the delightful historic town of Millthorpe.

So excited to be face painting at the Lions' Club Teddy Bears' Picnic this Saturday! It's a cause very close to my heart, and all facepainting proceeds on the day will be donated to the Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Foundation. Looking forward to painting lots of colourful teddy bear faces! 🧸🥳

Such a gorgeous day at St Philomena's Catholic Primary School Bathurst Easter Carnival! The rain held off and the sun was (mostly) shining. Thanks to the P&F for all their hard work, and thanks to everybody who stopped by.
Shout out to my neighbour stall Maude & Moo for their gorgeous earrings - just beautiful! 😍
