Who doesn’t love a good Devonshire Tea? Well if you want the best Wynnum has to offer, get yourself down to the SHIRE CLERK'S COTTAGE SPRING FAIR this Saturday. We will be serving delicious freshly baked scones on the historic cottage verandah. There will also be over 70 market stalls selling delightful handmade wares, and our talented artists will be offering beautiful paintings for sale as well. Market runs from 8am till 1pm. Devonshire Teas available 9am till midday.

Tomorrow, Saturday 16th March is the SHIRE CLERK’S COTTAGE EASTER MARKET and that other event.
Bring the kids along for the scavenger hunt while you have that democracy sausage and buy our delicious home made baked goods.
Check out the beautiful Shire Clerk’s Cottage while you are there and top off the democracy sausage with a famous Devonshire Tea.
Market runs from 8am - 1pm at 241 Tingal Rd, Wynnum and there are 100 prizes for the kids.

Congratulations to Waterloo Bay Leisure Centre’s current longest serving volunteer who was yesterday honoured by the Wynnum Manly Eisteddfod for 50 years of service to them. She was also inducted as a Wynnum Great with a presentation of a plaque from Joan Pease, MP.
Margaret has dedicated the last 50 years of her life to volunteering in our beautiful Bayside.

Today the Wynnum Manly Eisteddfod recognised my friend Margaret Redfern for her 50 Years (yes that's right!) of creating opportunity for young Queenslanders to perform🥳🥳.

But that's not all Margaret does, she's a loving Mum and Grandma. She volunteers each and every day at the Waterloo Bay Leisure Centre as well as St Peters Anglican Parish and helps out Trivia Master Wendy Ross🥰.

She's a great baker and is a hard worker and a terrific person.

I was honoured to induct Margaret into The Bayside Greats🤩.

Congratulations and a very well deserved recognition.

G’day bubbles here.
I am a lovely happy pup that loves to run around in the yard, play with the ball followed by a nap near you. I am very dog friendly and love kids and adults.
My foster dad says I am toilet trained , doing well at walking on lead and learning my basic commands. And as I’m very food motivated, I am easily trained. I sleep well at night in my crate and enjoy snuggles.
I am a happy pup that wants to be apart of a forever home that is going to love me, spend time with me, is patient and committed to becoming the best girl possible.

This darling big boy has been in the pound since December and unfortunately his time is up!! 🥺
No one has come to Duke's rescue so we are here to step in and ask for help to save his life!

🚨Duke needs a Foster Carer URGENTLY!!🚨

Please 𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐄 and help us Save Duke's life 🙏🏼

🐾 Duke is 3 yrs old and a bit of a tank at 45kg and very overweight.
He is a lovely sweet boy but nervous of loud noises. He prefers his people home more than not.
He is a puller on the lead but not too bad until there is a noise. He has been in the pound since December and running out of time quickly!
He was temp tested and he was very soft bodied and not aggressive at all.

***additional information - Duke hasn’t been walked or socialised much and needs a quiet and calm environment as noises are scary for him. No cats!

Today we hosted around 70 people from the Bridge Club for their Christmas party. Our fabulous cook Rhonda and her team served a beautiful lunch and the room looked wonderful. Our volunteers did a fantastic job.
