🥂 WHAT. A. NIGHT …. 🥂

On Wednesday evening I headed to our industries night of nights - the ABIA Weddings Australia. And what a spectacular night!

The room was filled with 400+ of Queensland’s finest wedding vendors and what a stellar line up it was.

I was nominated in 3 categories and ended up:
Top 10 Marriage Celebrant (Qld)
Top 10 Master of Ceremonies (Qld)
Finalist Independent Wedding Consultant (Qld)

COVID gave me the nudge I needed to put on my big girl bloomers and start my own business. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that, just three short years later, I would be receiving accolades like these.

Thank you to my amazing couples for placing their trust and faith in me to help them tie the knot, and for their divine reviews and votes. I’m beyond grateful that they chose me to be a part of their special day!

And a massive thank you to Alyce allyj87, for being the best hype squad and sounding board. Starting a small business is not easy and she has spent many a weekend away from her hubby and boys to help me. Thank you 🥂

💕Another delightful first today!💕

When I was chatting with S&H about their special day, hearing that they had a fur kid, I begged that Missy was going to be there with them and for the ceremony and photos.

They couldn’t find anyone to bring her up from Brisbane, be there at the wedding and bring her home. It was an intimate wedding and their fav peeps were all there.

Without hesitation I offered to bring Missy back with me. I was going to be driving home past their doggie sitters spot anyway, so it made sense.

I am a fur Mum and the idea of having a hairy passenger for the drive home was fab, but more importantly, knowing Missy was going to be there for S&H’s special day, warmed my heart.

She was the best little lady … and the best car ride buddy!

This is us - all done for the day ready to hit the highway.
