A little life update for my beloved customers ☀️
This Friday, August 16, will be my last scheduled delivery for a little while 🥹

I am temporarily back-filling a position in my corporate work life which won't leave space for my weekly floral deliveries.

I will still make space where I can for custom orders and wedding & event florals, please don't hesitate to reach out via DM or email at [email protected]

The website is still open and accepting orders for this week, I have a couple of spots left for Thursday and Friday 😊

Hello hello to all the new faces following along 👋 Welcome, Hi, Hello, let me introduce myself

I'm Kylie - *suprise, you'd never have guessed right?* - I'm 37 and live in Brisbane's north with my little fam. I started Blooms by Kylie in late 2020 whilst I was stood down from my job as a corporate travel consultant.
I was looking down the barrel of redundancy, pondering why life could be so cruel.
Would I go back to study, would I find something casual, what would fit with family life?
When💡I realised I could use the skills I have 🤔 what did I have to lose?

I studied Designer Floristry in 2008 and for a multitude of reasons (including the GFC) I felt I needed a 'proper' career. I fell into travel and didn't look back, until, last year...

Now I work out of my home studio, which sounds fancy, but it's just my garage. I work around my kids, literally - barbie's, pushbikes, trucks constantly in my space 😝
BBK has given me the opportunity to see all the kid's firsts, it's wonderful and I really owe it all to my community for allowing me to live this life.

So when I hear the *bing* of an order, you better believe I do a happy jig, because that little bing means I can keep doing this, supporting my little fam bam 🥰
