Hello Noggins,

A little update from us over here; next week we will be operating with half days:

Mon - Wed: 6-1
Thurs & Fri: 6-11
Saturday: Closed

And there will be no (I know, I am so sorry). The Nogg will also be having a Macchiato Me takeover (Noggiato Me?) Thursday and Friday - so come down and say hi to Tom if you’ve been missing him!

As many of you are aware our family has suffered a sudden and tragic loss this week; Deanna her nephew and Katie her cousin. Any and every loss is sad, but to lose someone unexpectedly at 33 is devastating. Thank you so much for your compassion and patience this week, especially today - it’s been so long since I’ve been on the handles by myself and it was exceptionally busy.

Deanna is in Melbourne for the next week, which means there will be no hand over period before I go away for four weeks. This will probably mean that service will be slightly disrupted for a week or so, before the new team finds their feet. We were hoping for a smoother transition, but unfortunately, this is where we are. I ask that you please be patient, we are currently placing one foot in front of the other and are trying our damndest.

PSA: Closing tomorrow 10am

In some sick manner I’m using photos of doughnuts to let you all know that Thursdough will not be happening tomorrow, or this week at all (no Fridough, I’m sorry!).

I find it difficult, but in some situations life needs to be prioritised before work, and this is one of those times. I can’t begin to express the gratitude I have for everyone that has leant me an ear, shoulder or hug over the past month. It fills my cup to the absolute brim, and how lucky am I to call that work?

We’ll be in making coffees until 10 tomorrow and there will be some brownie on the bench 🤭
