It’s been a while since I’ve jumped on here and posted ~ and I wish it wasn’t under these circumstances, however life these past few months haven’t been kind. I try to keep personal life and business separate, however these past few months have been the toughest months I’ve ever faced.
Both my nan and my grandpa are in hospital, and for lack of better words, are on deathbeds. In separate facilities, for separate reasons within weeks of each other. Those that know me know that these two people raised me for most of my childhood. I had another family member hospitalised in January, and have had another couple of set-backs mixed in as well.
It absolutely breaks my heart to be sharing this, but I know as a business owner I am not putting my best self forward, nor looking after my clients in the way that I intended to when my business was born.
This is just a pause, as I deeply love what I do, and I am very grateful for the journey I have had this far. However I know that at the present time I cannot deliver on the level of service that I try to pride myself on.
I am deeply embarrassed at my last few months of communication and I would love to apologise to all, to anyone that has reached out enquiring about my services, to clients awaiting for responses.
Had I known how the past couple of months were to unfold, I would not have opened my books. I do not say the above for sympathy, nor for any grace on how unprofessional my actions have been. Rather, I say this to let you all know that it is not because I don’t want to show up for my clients, but because life has thrown curveballs at me.
