Even though Rachel & Nick said “I Do” at one of Sydney’s most well-known and busiest venues, the beautiful Grounds of Alexandria, their ceremony had the most beautiful energy about i! The perfect combination of intimate, calm and personal.

They made sure they did their day their way! From a first look, keeping their personal vows as a private moment just for the two of them, and nostalgic tunes from the , Rachel & Nick sure did succeed in making it a true reflection of them. 🙌

What an absolute honour it was so get to know these two kind souls and be the one to get them married ❤️

𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬! 🎉🎉🎉

In classic Tayla form, I am posting this 8 months too late! 🤦‍♀️ But nevertheless…

James & Carly’s wedding back in November was THE BEST way to not only wrap up weddings for 2024, but also to mark 100 WEDDINGS!

And wow, what an amazing and rewarding roller coaster of a journey it’s been!

One of the reasons I wanted to become a celebrant was because I absolutely LOVE meeting new people, and it certainly hasn’t disappointed!! I have met some of the most kind, awesome and loved up couples and it is honestly the biggest pleasure to be able to marry them.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to each and every couple that has trusted me to be a part of the biggest day of their lives. Here’s to the next 100 🥂❤️✨

LAUREN + JOSH 🤍 23.09.23

What a special day this was for Lauren and Josh, spent at the beautiful Driftwood Shed officiating their marriage after being together for over a decade!

These two first locked eyes a lifetime ago at a mutual friends 16th birthday party. They spent the majority of the night sitting at opposite ends of the backyard stealing looks at each other, with Josh signalling Lauren to come over and join him 🥰

They’ve now been together for over 15 years and have kicked so many incredible life goals, including starting a family and running a successful business, even opening up a store in Bali!

Lauren and Josh, it was truly an honour to marry you both nearly two years ago now, and I feel like a proud parent watching the amazing things you are achieving as a little family. ❤️

Remember I promised you earlier this week I’d share some more of the magic of Steph & Brandon’s wedding day, created by the incredibly talented ? Well, here it is…💫✨💛

Magic to me is so much more than those anticipated, classic, posed moments. It’s those little moments in between, the ones that no one else sees, the ones that are so sacred between two or three people, the ones that only last for a split second and nearly get missed.
✨ The cheeky and loving look you exchange that only you two know what it means
✨ The giddy mums that have the honour of signing their children’s marriage certificates
✨ The joy in the eyes of the people that love and support you
✨ All the little details that you’ve put months and months into planning right down to the last minute

In my eyes, an amazing photographer will capture these special moments, and these candid photographs are what evokes all of the feels you felt on your wedding day as you look back through them throughout your lifetime. I think Brendan did just that! 🙌

That’s a wrap on 2024….

And WOW, what an awesome year it was!! 🎉✨

I want to say a huge THANK YOU to each and every one of my 2024 couples for choosing me to be the one to marry them. It is not lost on me how special it is to play a part in one of the biggest days of your lives, I will be forever grateful.

One of the highlights of this year was marrying my 100th couple!!! When I first became a celebrant I remember thinking I’d be happy to marry 5-10 couples a year. That number soon got blown out of the water 😂 I feel so lucky to have met 200 amazing individuals along this journey.

Like every year, I have learnt and grown so much and I look forward to continuing to in 2025! It has many exciting things in store, stay tuned!!
