Had a great night last -DJ for Amy’s 21st. Took a few shots. Nice venue at Buda in Castlemaine. I would have never thought of going there - but the Function Room is quite good ❤️

I am a huge fan of the “King”. Today would have been his 88th birthday. At nearly every gig - I get asked to play some of his stuff. Funnily enough - even at 21st parties. This video is how we all probably like to remember him… Looking and moving his best!

Recently going through my “ hoard” of old stuff (like most of us do I guess)…. Found this blast from the past…. business cards from my very first mobile disco set up in the early 90s when I was but a pup…. notice the phone number is a little different than now… and NO mobile number….oh but the theme is still the same - You choose the music! (Now with the added bonus 2 more decades to choose from!)
Fun facts - In 1990, just 1 percent of Australians were estimated to own a mobile phone. In 1995 this rate had increased to 13 percent and by 1999, around 45 percent of Australians owned a mobile phone.
