On Thursday 1 June as part of the Central Victorian Indigenous Film Festival Theatre Royal is screening Fighting Giants.
‘Fighting Giants’ tells the story of Traditional Owners and the community taking on giant fracking corporations whose plans would turn the region into an industrial wasteland. It is a rallying call to defend so many things that we value: the stunning, unique landscapes of the Kimberley, our fragile climate, and Aboriginal culture and land.
Following the film, a Q&A session will be held with Environs Kimberley and local climate organisations including the Central Victorian Greenhouse Alliance, Wararack, and the Central Victoria Climate Alliance (more to come).
Thursday 1 June, 7.30pm
