Special Occasions is a wedding decorator and event styling company with over 25 years experience. With an intimate working knowledge of Coffs Coast venues, our team of wedding planners has styled over 7,000 events. Special Occasions wedding coordinator, Margaret Bonfield, has designed weddings and events for major celebrities and multi-national companies in the most beautiful locations and wedding venues in Coffs Harbour.

** POSITION VACANT**

Special Occasions is seeking a casual Events Labourer. The successful applicant needs to have proven organisational skills, commitment and attention to detail.

Working with a team who have been an industry leader for 20 years requires a special person. Special Occasions organises, supplies equipment/decor and manages weddings, corporate and special events on the Coffs Coast.

The applicant must be physically fit (requires movement of furniture) and organised (multiple jobs on the same day require forward planning)and prepared to work within a team. Drivers licence required and a bonus if you have the ability to tow and back trailers.
Minimum 20 hours a week and the potential of full time for the right candidate. Must be available on weekends.

Lovely colourful backdrops from recent Jaggo events.

Jaggo literally translates to “wake-up” and this event would have historically happened by alerting the village at night about the upcoming wedding. The women are then greeted with cha and barfi, assorted Indian sweets, and dance around as many homes throughout the night. It’s definitely a loud and joyous ceremony that celebrates the bride joining another home and embarking on a new journey with her husband.
