🇹🇷 Turkish wedding tradition - Money Pin. The bride and groom don sashes and guests come up one by one to take pictures with them and pin gold or money onto the sashes. The money is then supposed to be used to help the couple get started in life, whether to buy a house or anything else they need to begin their new lives together. 💵💵💵

It’s a true blessing to be able to be part of couples big day. Ange and Sean reached out to me in early 2020 for their wedding supposedly later that year. Due to covid they have postponed 3 times. The lovebirds lived just down the street from each other and met when they were at their teens. They’ve moved state couple of times, and decided to return to Melbourne rooting their new family here. No jokes they broke my record of the longest booked couple in my book waiting to get married (and we still laugh about that now when we crossed path again). From March 2021, to November 2021 then February 2022. I was in tears listening to their personal vows (finally got them married 😭). Apart from their parents, I can proudly say I am the next happiest person. 🤣😘💜

When Chan met the Cheng! Joanna contacted me closer to the wedding date. This stunning lady found her soulmate many years ago, during lockdown they decided to tight the knot. It was only when things got better in Victoria they decided to host a big reception to celebrate their marriage with many of their families and friends! I was extremely honoured to host her big day. Bride has extremely good taste and chose had their wedding in white colour with a touch of black. Their love is pure, and their future is bright being together. At reception, they had the most beautiful jazz music playing in the background, shared dinner with their close ones, in some laughters, some happy tears, and a lot of love. Had the pleasure marrying this beautiful couple. Was dealing with the bride via email and SMS in the earlier stage, until the day we met to sign the Notice of Intended Marriage, as they turned up only I then to realise the groom is a professional wedding photographer himself! Not to mention we (he) had so much fun looking for angles for his photographer mates to shoot and capture all the beautiful moments at the rehearsal for the big day. It was just beautiful on that day at the Stones. Happy for you both. Congrats C&D ♥️🎊

Cannot believe 2021 has gone in a blink of an eye. Just before winter hit Melbourne last year, in between lockdowns, I had the privilege to marry Sarah and Koo in the beautiful courtyard of the Pietro Gallo Estate, surrounded by their closest friends and Sarah’s family. We also managed to FaceTime with Koo’s family in South Korea for the whole ceremony so that his parents wouldn’t miss out the big day. 🇰🇷Congratulations beautiful Sarah and Koo, you found your Mr and Mrs right, may you be showered with love and blessings every single day 💕✨

Well, this is to wrap up 2021. To all the couples I’ve married or receptions I’ve hosted, thank you all for trusting me and allowing me to be part of your big day.
To all the vendors I’ve worked with, thank you for the team work together and I look forward to many more opportunities to work with you in the near future. Lockdown in Victoria was tough, I am grateful for working with many professional yet kind hearted couples and vendors.
Let’s hope for a better years ahead for Victoria and Straya altogether. Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas break and a Happy New Year. 🎄🎊💕
