DJ Spirit Female DJ, local to Darwin, who brings the funk & soul vibes throughout the different genres, bringing the decks to life with electric energy!

Jem, who goes under the DJ name 'Spirit Jugs' is a local Darwin DJ who started her DJ experience when she was still completing her Bachelor of Music back in 2019. Slowly finding her sound she loves to bring the funky beats and dirty drops to the dance floor no matter what genre! Mainly playing Tech House, and slowly exploring bouncy Prog Psy, she is also known as the Disco Queen in her community!

Always performs with high energy and crazy dance moves, connecting with the crowd each performance! Spirit Jugs has residencies around Darwin City and has played at the local Festivals in the NT, also running events out of some of the local clubs! Enjoy her mix of underground tunes and old skool tracks in every genre she does, always bringing the bounce and some nostalgia!

I am in one of the biggest DJ competitions in Australia at the moment for one of the BIGGEST music and lifestyle festivals, Esoteric Festival to win a prime time spot & more on the main stage - 'Sun Temple' next year in March for The Psychedelic Circus edition!

I'm really proud of this set, 3 hours sleep, the chaos of organising a festival & then I jumped on the decks at Chill Stage Saturday night to spin some funky low tempo house which grounded me and I just went with it!!
