For our next few nights we were blessed to spend time with my closest family friends at their gorgeous beach house at Batehaven, Batemans Bay. (that View!) We spent the day exploring Maloney's Beach and getting organised. I'm keen to start a series of photos on patterns. Walking along the beaches gives me so much inspiration and I love the way the ocean and wind creates such interesting patterns in the rocks and the trees. Here are a few of my favourites.

Our first overnight was at Seven Mile Beach at Gerrora and it was just gorgeous, I don't know this couple, but I love the reflection and the peacefulness of the photo.

First stop of the Trip was Bondi Beach, I've always loved a good quote and I think this sums me up pretty well.

So my aim of uploading photos regularly has been curtailed by little to nil wireless internet!. So far we have travelled down the east coast of NSW to the Southern Most point of Oz - Wilson's Prom, into Melbourne for a few days of city life and then along the Great Ocean Road. Lots of Beaches, cliffs, wildlife and long windy roads. Life is great - never want to work again!

New Year, New Vision for A Quirkey Touch, follow my photography pursuits as I travel around Australia in my trusty campervan Vinnie. My current photography passions are patterns and beach and I will be creating albums dedicated to my different pursuits. Enjoy!

A very Quirkey Adventure...

A Quirkey Touch started off as a potential Event Management and Party Styling Hobby, however my pursuits in life have changed and I am now travelling Australia in my 1996 Ford Econovan “Vinnie”. I have always had a love of photography and after a few days on the beach, I decided to dedicate this Page to Photos of my Once in a Lifetime Trip. So get ready to see lots of beautiful beach shots, random patterns, sunrises and sunsets and gorgeous country towns as I travel up and down the East Coast of this Great Southern Land..

Disclaimer...Wireless Internet is intermittent, so whilst I would love to put up daily posts, it will be more likely larger uploads as Internet permits =)
