So glad I took the time to attend the 30th anniversary conference of the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants. Got to meet many celebrants from around the country, listened to some fascinating speakers and ate too many lollies! Thankyou Erica Janssen, Marriage Celebrant for the laughs!! 😘

I love this business! I have laughed and cried with couples, learned things about life I never knew and have grown as a celebrant. I love the ceremony planning and organising and having my hubby by my side as the "sound engineer" (he's in control of the MP3 and unpaid!!). I LOVE being a celebrant and should have done this sooner.

One thing I need to get better at is getting photos. Lovely afternoon in the Barossa to marry Erin and James. Thankfully the rain stayed away but the chill factor did not. I thought I scrubbed ok. The bride looked gorgeous and the groom was very dapper. The Barossa Glen is a gorgeous place to have your wedding and there's a Bed and Breakfast across the road! No need to worry about drink driving.

Had the best wedding today! A wedding at the beautiful home of the bride and groom. On the balcony with the sun setting over the ocean in the background. Both bride and groom barefoot and surrounded by the parents and son. Short, sharp and shiny. Legal vows only. Congratulations to Ricky and Grace xx

Hi, I'm Anita and I love weddings. Bit weird if I didn't! But anyhooo..........Gorgeous day in Adelaide today and what to do when free but to go to the Adelaide Botanic Gardens and sneaky peak on other people's weddings! Shhhhhh, secret squirrel. It was research. The brides were gorgeous, the bridesmaids fabulous, the grooms and groomsmen dead set handsome (if only I was 30 years younger!!). Brought the sound engineer (aka husband) with me. I love weddings!!
