Lovestruck Couple: T & C

A love story that started with a simple coffee order and a new found confidence to "get out there". These two lovers met just before lockdown and within months they had to decide if what they had was a lifelong commitment. The decision was an easy one to make as the love was there from the early days. Moving in together, navigating Melbourne lockdown as well as a new relationship, these two lovers have only fallen more madly in love with one another.

While they met one another by chance, they made a choice to come together in marriage. Their love story wrote itself. It was an honour to weave it into an intimate ceremony for them and their family.

The magic of sharing your love story is never lost on me.

Make it official how you want either at home, your favourite cafe, bar, waterfall or beach. The options are endless! I'll be there as your hype girl to make it legal. You just need two witnesses over 18.

As your celebrant, where do I stand in the ceremony? Well, that is completely up to you!

I tend to prefer to stand to the side as this gives you the opportunity to stand next to one another, be close, give each other that comforting back rub or whisper in the ear. Not only that, but it also allows you to look out to all your adoring friends and family who are swept up in the moment of joy with you.

However, if the idea of looking at everyone makes you weak at the knees with sweaty palms then I'll pop myself up close and personal. This allows me to give you that reassuring smile, words of encouragement and be your hype girl throughout.

Either way, I've got you and I'm ready to make you feel calm and ready to make it official!

So, considering I expect you to share your love stories with me to get to know you both, I think it's only fair to share mine with you.

I met my special person in highschool. Matt and I had been in each other's classes but never really spoke to one another. After being seated next to each other at the start of a school year (and many, many hours of chatting with our limited credit on our phones) we became a couple at 15.

After 9 years together we realised the hard truth, we needed to head down different paths. As individuals we travelled, made new friends, finished study, took on dream jobs, experienced new love and heartbreak aswell as a doing a whole lot of growing up. Through the "off seasons" we sometimes crossed paths but it was not to be.

Never did I think I would be lucky enough to do life with him by my side again.

Being asked to be part of your special day, in any capacity, is a privilege that does not go unappreciated. That it why, as your Celebrant, I will do all I can to make your day a memorable one. A day filled with love, laughter, tears (the happy kind) and of course, fun!

I was honoured to be asked by my special friend's, Liz and Mason, to MC their wedding reception earlier this year. We laughed, embraced, shared a drink and danced the night away as we celebrated their love.

My role is to ensure you have a ceremony that is unique, individual, meaningful and gets the party started!

Hello Lovestruck Lovers!

My name is Ellese, and I am a Registered Marriage Celebrant.

Ever since I was a young girl, I have been a LOVER OF LOVE and a bit of a wedding crasher... Of the good kind! If we were ever driving past or in earshot of a wedding, I'd scream out to stop so I could lock eyes on the couple in absolute awe of the whole spectacle.

As I've grown, my interest in weddings and the couple's special day continued to grow. I witnessed family and friends make commitments to their forever partners in marriage at all kinds of ceremonies. I still get moved just thinking about the words shared, the moments made and the atmosphere we were all apart of on the special day. Being asked to MC the wedding of my two special friends was the catalyst that pushed me to complete my studies and become a registered celebrant.
