I love it when my couples incorporate their traditions and culture including what they wear for their special day. Trishala is originally from Nepal and Sajjad from Pakistan. Their wedding here was very low key as next year there will be massive celebrations with many family and friends in both their countries!

I am often bemused by my couples at rehearsal who often giggle and feel embarrassed when I explain about ‘holding the kiss’ on their day for photos. To be honest I rarely need to explain as they are so loved up and passionate on the day it just comes naturally, like this divine couple pictured!

Melissa and her dad were so totally adorable. They even did a little three step jig as they walked the aisle together. The guests erupted in laughter and applause! I love how every wedding my couples put their own spin on their special day.

I adore all my couples and every wedding to me is special however it adds another layer of joy when I get to be involved in a wedding of a couple I already know. Darling Meg who is an absolute angel, is my beautician and it was so wonderful to get her hitched to her longtime fella, Ryan! They wanted low key, intimate, old fashioned and sweet and their beautiful day was all of this and more.

Ellie and Daniel giggled their way through the entire ceremony, partly in excitement and partly nerves. These two are the sweetest couple you can possibly imagine and wanted fairly short, warm and fun ceremony. They opted for legal vows only, which I think is great idea if you’re not a fan of public speaking. Leave that part up to me. I am super happy to tell your love story.

What a way to start Christmas Day….

I walked into Mandi and Michael’s at 8.45am to find ltheir closest family and friends were all gathered, drinking champagne, excitedly chattering away in anticipation ready for their early morning wedding. . I then got these two hitched in the shelter of their alfresco area (as the weather was a bit dodgy) and wow what a loved up, fun and chilled time we had!

This very wet day reminds me of Alice and Nicks wedding a few wet Fridays ago.
As you can see here even though we are a bit wet and soggy we are still having such a great time.
I do however implore all my couples getting married in Victoria to have a solid plan B as our weather is so unpredictable.

Terence and Englan made their legal commitment to one another, privately, earlier in the year and then had a larger ‘wedding’ with all their loved ones recently at Merne.
