During the initial stages of wedding planning, Jane struggled to settle on a single colour palette. What she was certain of was her desire to make guests feel, taking them on an artistic journey from the ceremony to the reception. To achieve this, she chose an ethereal and whimsical spring palette of lilac and mossy greens for the ceremony, and a dramatic shift to reds and chrome for the reception, creating a romantic, moody, yet contemporary atmosphere that would surprise the guests. This also accurately reflected Jane’s diverse aesthetic and tastes.

Jane’s decision to combine reds with chrome reflected her desire to merge traditional elements with modernity. The red roses, embodying romance and tradition, were paired with chrome to introduce a contemporary edge which elevated the overall design.

To complement the floral installations and styling in each room, Jane envisioned her bridesmaids in silky lilac dresses for the ceremony, transitioning to iridescent silver dresses for the reception, with matching bouquets for both occasions. Even the groomsmen enjoyed a change of buttonholes. Bottom line is, all the elements had to coordinate with BLOOMS! 🥀💁🏼‍♀️

In keeping with BLOOMS’ commitment to sustainability, Daneil and Jane’s ethereal ceremony installation was designed entirely foam-free, incorporating sustainable practices such as water vials for hydration, as well as chicken wire, reversible zip ties and water buckets for structural integrity of the installations. 🌳
