My regular family dinner menu last weekend,

Wagyu eye fillet steak, mushroom puree, Miso & maple roasted carrots, greens, caramelized onions and red wine jus

No pictures unfortunately...but everyone loved the food and I left the house feeling blessed as I usually do after the catering.

Hello. I am Mizue.
I am a chef and also a mother of 4 beautifully grown up children.

A little bit of myself...

As a child, I grew up watching my parents working hard to grow a farming business. They showed me how food was grown and how to appreciate food.

As a mum of 4 kids myself, it was always my first priority to put nutritious food on my table.
I would always tell them" Make sure you eat everything because I cooked a well balanced meal!"

I worked at a few different award winning venues and spent so many hours in the kitchen sacrificing the time with my young children. Working night and day, plus driving kids around for sports before and after work...it was really hard but I always tried.

As the children grew up and some have left home, I have geared up my chef's career to follow my passion.

To connect with people through my food. To make people happy with my food. That's my passion and what I cook for.

I love food. I love my life as a mother, as a wife and as a chef.
That's where my business name comes from. It's a LONG name, I know! But it describes me very well for who I am.

My dinner at home tonight experimenting with this particular dish to bring up to the next level.

Miso marinated fish, aromatic broth, bok choy & enoki mushroom, crispy coconut rice, pickled radish, topped with fresh herbs and crispy garlic✨

I got some ideas to try next time!

Spiced slow roasted lamb shoulder, maple and butter roasted carrots, sweet potato, chickpeas, pickled red cabbage, mint yoghurt and pistachios with red wine jus

Marinated Jew fish poached in kaffir lime infused dashi broth and crispy coconut rice. Very fragrant, fresh and light meal for my regular customers ❤️
Every time I prepare meals for my customers, all I think of is their happy smiles or reactions as they eat my food.
When I actually see it, it means the world to me 🥰

Very fresh and clean flavour with a kick of lemon grass marinated pork.

It was worth the experiment the other day before this family dinner catering tonight 😋 Sri Lankan fish and prawn curry.

Sri Lankan fish curry.
Filleted a very fresh whole snapper that had a soft and sweet flavour.
Served with crispy curry leaves and coriander seeds.

Carne Asada steak for a family dinner catering ❤️ Served with Mexican salad and rice. The beef cut is called ' skirt ' which is very flavourful yet affordable cut of meat. I marinated it overnight in herbs, spices..etc..before it was cooked. Very juicy and flavourful steak! I personally love this kind of steak 👍✨

Fresh rocket, baby spinach, avocado, walnuts, pepitas, raisin, quinoa , pickled red cabbage, fresh herbs, Danish feta cheese and smoked salmon! Layers of flavor and texture ❤️

Lemon grass, kaffir lime leaves, chilli, coriander roots, ginger, garlic..etc... making a very aromatic marinade for BBQ whole fish and prawns tomorrow night. I always imagine my customers smiles enjoying the food when I prepare. That's all I think of 😊
