1. Animal canvas painting - inspire your kids to paint their favourite animal.

2. Drink bottle decorating - grab some plastic drink bottles and use permanent markers to decorate.

How to make your very own mask! 👇🏼

What you will need:
1. 1x wooden mask or you could use a paper plate
2. Paint (One light and one dark colour)
3. 1x paint brush
4. Decorations and glue
5. Optional- white paint

Method:
1. Paint your mask in the lighter colour chosen and allow to dry for 5 minutes.
2. Paint the outline of your mask in the darker colour and flick the paint into your lighter colour.
3. Decorate to your heart's content!
4. Add some white paint for highlights/features.

How to make your very own taste-safe slime! 👇🏼

This is such an easy activity to do with your kids that will build sensory and fine motor skills.

What you will need:
- 1 tbsp psyllium husk
- 250ml water
- Food colouring

Method:
- Place all ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Stir until evenly combined.
- Microwave on High for 5 minutes. Set aside to cool to room temperature, stirring occasionally to release the heat.

Who needs to try this with their kids? We love making slime in our art workshops :)

How to teach your little ones about colours! 👇🏼

Grab the 3 primary colours (red, blue and yellow). Place these on some paper or in a palette and encourage your kids to first mix the red paint with the blue paint. Observe like magic the colour changing to purple! Repeat with all the other colours like so:

- Red + yellow = orange
- Blue + yellow = green

This is a great way to start to introduce the colour wheel and the primary and secondary colours 💫

It is officially December which means it's time for Christmas art activities! 🎄

Here are 5 fun Christmas-themed art ideas you could try with your little ones 👇🏼

1. Christmas Card Decorating - get your little ones crafting some cards for loved ones and friends.

2. Christmas Reindeer food making- chop up some carrots, oats, and sprinkles ready for Christmas eve.

3. Santa stocking decorating- buy a Christmas stocking and get your little ones decorating with pens, decorations and glitter.

4. Homemade Christmas wrapping paper- buy a roll of brown or white paper and get your kiddies decorating with pens and stickers. The perfect addition to your gifts.

5. Homemade Christmas tree decorations- chop out some paper and cardboard and get your kids decorating. Make sure to put the year on there too for a fun memory. Add some string and hang it on the tree!

One of our favourite activities to do at home is paper decorating!

It is truly such a simple activity that builds fine motor skills, and inspires creativity.

Simply lay out different sheets of paper and some markers, scissors and glue. If you have some decorations place them out too.

Let your kids create whatever comes to mind. Maybe give them some guidance to create a card?

You'll be amazed at what they create! 👏🏼
