I know I have said it before but man do I love a private property wedding and Paige and Nick’s was one to remember.
A beautiful purpose built barn, a loving and welcoming family, the cutest animals and a maid of honor that took her job to the next level (every bride needs a Mikayla in their life)

“I don’t think I can put into words what our experience was like with Alicia, Nathan and all the staff at Memory Lane. We origanally booked Florence the caravan for our wedding after such wonderful and seamless communication we decided that we would benefit from Alicia giving us a helping hand on our DIY wedding. Based on a private property we used their expertise for advise and ideas no matter how big or small. Emails, phone calls, texts, no matter when or what we sent their way they were quick to respond with a friendly message back and reassurance that we could do anything.

When our day came it ran so smoothly we wouldn’t have known anything went wrong if it did. The bar staff were amazing and catered for everyone’s preferences and we got so many compliments on our bar and cocktails!

What a whirlwind the last 5 months have been.

I have had the pleasure of assisting over 20 beautiful couples on their wedding day by providing on the day coordination for one of the most important days in a couples relationship.

I am looking forward to a slower pace of life for the next 2 months but would love to chat to futures couples about how having me as your on the day coordinator could be one of the best decisions you make during your wedding planning journey.

Happy 12 years to us.

12 years ago we said our I do’s and I became a Parlane.

We planned our day with the vision of our 2 babies walking down the aisle hand in hand stealing the show. Surely by 17 months old Noah would be walking, nope.

Noah was obsessed with this walker and it’s the only way he would walk and there was no way I was having him walk down the aisle with that ugly walker. In hindsight I should have.
Try is is one of my favourite photos and most cherished memories.

Your day will be made up of imperfect moments and it’s those moments that weren’t planned, that didn’t go exactly the way you envisioned that you will cherish for a lifetime.

Let go of having the “perfect wedding day” and just be in the moment having fun.

P.s who is this man I married, does anyone even recognise Nathan with no hair LOL

Did you know it takes us at least 2.5 hours to get Florence all set up and ready to party 🍾

There are so many details to consider once Florence arrives on-site.

Positioning, access route, access to power, location of cool room, ceremony location/start time (this often effects us as we aim to be mostly set before your ceremony starts so we aren’t making any noise or distracting from the ceremony) how many different varieties of beer you have (3-4 max) cocktail prep, styling and so on

It’s not as simple as just rocking up and starting service straight away.

Not to mention the hours of preparation in the lead up and the glasses, 100’s and 100’s of glasses to be washed post wedding (our fellow mobile bar friends will know what we are talking about)

So next time you question the price of “just 7 hours service” have a little think about all the extra time that goes into just 1 event.

I haven’t even touched on our experience level yet, I will save that for another post.

Who doesn’t love a big warm hug?

I truely want to wrap my arms around each and every one of my couples and reassure you that I’ve got you….

As a wedding coordinator there are certain things out of my control like the weather, family dramas and managing expectations but what I can assure you is that by having me by your side you don’t need to sweat the logistics or timings of the day and can just be present and in the moment and enjoy the day to the fullest.

Hey Lovers

Wedding season and life has had us busy and not leaving much time for socials but we have had a whole bunch of new followers so it’s time to reintroduce ourselves.

We are Nathan and Alicia a husband and wife team living life on The Central Coast. We have 3 awesome kids and started this little wedding business after our 3rd baby was born and have been riding the rollercoaster of small business owners and building this business for the last 7 years.

When we are not wrapped up in weddings we put a strong focus on family time, good food, cocktails, beach days, camping adventures and music.

Through the years our products, service and packages have changed a lot but at our core our main focus has always been on customer service and providing a stylish awesome bar vibe with our cocktail van Florence and assisting couples on their wedding day by providing peace of mind with on the day coordination.

After spending the last few years providing bar service to many Stables couples and building beautiful relationships with the owners Louise and Andrew, always feeling very welcome and comfortable in such a stunning wedding venue that aligns perfectly with our businesses core values it was hard to say no to spending more time here and becoming a more permenant member of The Stables family.
