A dear friend of mine asked me if I could make her a Chess cake for her dads 70th. The flavour to be Black Forest. I gave it my best shot.

Now if your new to my page I don’t make cakes as part of my business I do it for family and friends to build my skills and to become better at techniques. Some day I’ll put the cakes in there but for now cookies and grazing boards it is.

My girl is finally engaged and I was asked if I could do up a caramilk mud square slab cake for her engagement party. I was absolutely honoured too! First slab cake I’ve done, first time I’ve hand written in buttercream and I amazed myself honestly! Congratulations future Mr & Mrs Luongo 💕

‘And she’s at it again’ they said.. haha the caramel decided to leak through which was a pain but it all held together! The white chocolate drip I forgot the cream🤦🏼‍♀️ (we aren’t all perfect I am human too) but I had a drip bottle so I was able to touch it up. The guys and gals at work aren’t used to ‘fancy’ cakes so their faces are pretty funny to see.

Hi friendly followers, we have made a few changes with our charcuterie boxes. We now have 2 types of charcuterie boxes available one contains fruit where the second box contains celery/carrot/cucumber sticks. When ordering these please let us know which box you would like along with your choice of cheeses provided in the list at the bottom of this menu. Quantities of cheeses vary as to which size you order so please be aware of this. We look forward to creating these boxes of yumminess for you!

These beautiful little creations are off to the Christmas markets. Don’t miss out head over to the old coach stables today. Great for gifts, a bikkie for yourself with coffee or tea, maybe even that amazing hot chocolate whilst watching a Christmas movie or maybe just a snack for now or later. A special customer of mine I’ve known for 24years.. yes that’s right 24years we met at our childcare/preschool and I had the honour to make their day special with these beautiful cookies.

Later on down the track when I have the business sorted and running a little more with confidence I may add on to doing cakes. For now I’ll stick to cookies and Grazing boards. However I’d like to show you something that I ended up redoing after a disaster occurred. This cake is one that I made for a wedding over the weekend which turned out swell! 😊 so much flavour, so much chocolate, so many berries.

After receiving my goods from yesterday I had to test so many things which had turned out beautifully. The cookie stamps that I had received last fortnight from worked out amazingly well. Now that I have an idea on Christmas cookies I will be able to to do a pack of 8 for $45 this will also include the Santa face along with frosty the snowman face I have previously posted. I do go more on the designs though and I’m am absolutely in love with these! 😍 if you’d like to order please feel free to message me either by messenger or email. Ordering window will close December 1st unless booked up earlier.

Last fortnight a small local community went under water with all the rain that we had in minutes. To support them the local school is having a fund raiser to help support those affected. As a small society with our kind hearts we like to support one another. Kim’s Cookies and Grazing Co has put in some cookies and cupcakes to help with a school fundraiser. Supporting the locals is something I have a big heart for because at some point (like these times) we come together and help each other out.

On a wet cold yucky night like these, being out in the middle of the scrub these platters are just fabulous to relax with or to enjoy with the kids, Family or friends or maybe a small one for yourself. Enjoy it with a bit of wine or cold beverage you like.
