Textures Dining is a private chef/caterer based in Brisbane that offers bespoke dining experiences for individuals and groups.

The chef and owner, Allison, has gained extensive culinary experience from working as a private chef on luxury superyachts worldwide and has received formal training in France, the UK, and Canada. Allison's cooking style emphasizes seasonal and local ingredients, influenced by her travels throughout Mediterranean Europe, Scandinavia, USA & Mexico, the South Pacific, the Caribbean & South America.

Textures Dining provides catering services for events at various locations such as homes, holiday houses, superyachts, and more. Textures Chef & Owner Allison’s passion is to create bespoke dining experiences for you and your friends & family to enjoy! Allison spent almost 10 years travelling the world as a private chef onboard luxury superyachts, cooking for the rich (and sometimes the famous!) before returning home to Australia in 2015. It is a demanding and ever-changing work environment, which offers unique challenges and numerous learning opportunities. She has had formal culinary training in France, the UK and Canada, and has spent time cooking, sourcing ingredients and experiencing the local cuisines of Mediterranean Europe, Scandinavia, USA & Mexico, the South Pacific, the Caribbean & South America. Allison's cooking has a strong focus on the seasonal and local nature of food, having seen and experienced its impact in areas where the love of food is an integral part of culture and lifestyle. Sometimes I actually remember to take photos of my food before I send it out 🤣 Spectacular 10 days in Fiji recently for another yacht gig, can’t wait to go back! Challenging provisioning means you gotta get creative with the menus, this is a chicken, mushroom and prosciutto roulade with chicken and sage tortellini, jus gras and green peas. 💚

Want to know who your chef will be? Introducing Allison, the face behind Textures Dining.

Allison’s culinary career spans two decades, including almost 10 years travelling the world working as a private chef onboard luxury superyachts, cooking for the rich (and sometimes the famous!) before returning home to Australia in 2015.

With formal culinary training in France, the UK and Canada, Allison has spent time cooking, sourcing ingredients and experiencing the local cuisines of Mediterranean Europe, Scandinavia, USA, Mexico, Canada, the South Pacific and South America. In addition she has worked in a range of venues across the east coast of Australia, including one- and two- hatted restaurants, as well as five star hotels, bistros and cafes.

Allison’s menus have a strong focus on the seasonal and local nature of food, having seen and experienced its impact in areas where the love of food is an integral part of culture and lifestyle.

Now, as the Chef and Owner of Textures Dining Allison can bring her wealth of knowledge and experience to create a bespoke dining experience for you, in your home, holiday house, yacht, or any other venue!
