You might have noticed I’ve been a bit quieter than usual. I have a pesky health issue that’s affecting mobility in my hands, which I’m working on with the GP & specialist (probs need a procedure).
I’m really hoping to be back to full usage & no pain in the new year, and I’m looking forward to it! I soooo miss connecting with old and new friends and the lovely Get Off Your Arts community 💕👯♀️

We enjoyed a special 9th birthday Mermaid Paint Party shell-abration in the Get Off Your Arts studio today 🧜🏼♀️🧜🏼♀️🧜🏼♀️
Inside the studio was creative mermaid-y fun (see if you can spot Nana’s Wise Mermaid!) and outside we had the gazebo up for a mini parent party, compiete with yummy drinks and a delicious nibbles from Tennilles-platters.

We’ve had such a great break for the school holidays, but now it’s back to business!
I’ve been getting ready for a Paint Your Pet workshop this weekend, and a guest from last month’s sesh sent me her completed masterpiece!

I’ve been having. “Whale” of a time playing with different designs of painting these gentle giants.
I’ve already got the Sunset Whale booked in at the Dock, but then the Mayor George Seymour - Fraser Coast posted an EPIC pic he took recently on the whale watching boat 🐳🐳 and I love it!
So I tried painting it, and now I just need to work out how to make it easy & fun for beginners … and also get George’s permission or photo credit or something!

5 weeks since I broke my shoulder (apparently multiple fractures to proximal humerus, resulting in weeks of annoyingly restrictive sling-wearing and many tedious, teeth-grittingly painful nights sleeping sitting up) - and I’m running again!! 🎉🏃♀️🥳🙌
Tbh, not much actual *running* as such ☺️🤭more like, fast-ish walking, with the occasional jog of 500m-1km along the way. But wowee it feels FANTASTIC!!
(PS no more running with large dogs for me! Sorry Rox 🤗)
