Today’s the day! We can’t wait to rave with you but there’s a bunch of important details you’ll need to know to make it a safe and enjoyable party for everyone. Read on below!

𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬
Doors will be open from 9:30pm with music starting at 10pm.

𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲
Entry will be from Argyle St. Down the alleyway next to the Maritime Museum.

𝐀𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐥
No BYO. There will be a bar serving a range of cans, basic spirits and a few themed cocktails for the night until 3:30AM. Security will be present and may conduct bag checks if deemed necessary.

𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲
Unfortunately this event is not an accessible venue.

𝐓𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬
At this stage, there will be a handful of tickets remaining for purchase on the door. However, it is entirely possible they will sell out before we open. Secure a ticket online via the link in the comments to avoid disappointment. Online ticket sales will end at 8PM.

It goes without saying, but Grounded Sound has zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination or other antisocial behaviour. Anyone found doing so may be removed from the premises.

And for our final support act we have Twilight Girl a.k.a Dillon Murphy! 🎶

Pictured below bringing his diverse bass selections to our Lakeside Stage at Synergy Festival, he'll be closing the evening's proceedings with a decimation of deep, heaving and guttural basslines interspersed with twisted and broken beats.

Hailing from Sydney's Inner West, and repping RPK Soundsystem, he's been a friend of Grounded Sound for many years and it's a pleasure to have him back on the little island to close out the rave.

First and Second Release tickets have now sold out, with the Final Release quickly on the move. The venue has a strictly limited capacity and we can't guarantee door sales, so we recommend purchasing presale to avoid disappointment.

Introducing Rosemary a.k.a Matthew Rose! 🎶
Supporting TRUTH at our underground rave this Saturday!

“Variety is the spice of life”, an ethos ‘Rosemary’ attempts to embody every day. He is a Tasmanian based artist and ecologist, inspired by numerous forms of expression and challenge…or potentially just too distracted to focus on one thing.

As co-founder of Ghetto Collective he has been instrumental in the elevation of bass music culture throughout Tasmania, and has become a regular fixture in the Tasmanian doof scene and at bass-focused club nights.

Expect an assorted smorgasbord of bass-laden treats spanning too many genres and tempos to count, getting you warmed up and in the mood for a long night below ground.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Twisted Lime on Saturday for Frequent and COPYCATT! It was a wonderful evening of gloriously fat beats and the incredible stage façade from Jamin exceeded expectations.
With that, it's time to announce our next event - APHOSIS, featuring one of the most respected names in deep dubstep, TRUTH!🐙 This one will be an experiential rave in a darkened bunker beneath nipaluna/Hobart's historic centre with a big sound system and eclectic visual and lighting installations. Topping this off we have a lush support lineup including DJ Sharkie Ra, Rosemary, Quantumpuss and a special guest from eora/Sydney, Twilight Girl.

And here we have a wild laying down a dose of his signature funky, squiggly basslines on our beloved lakeside stage at Synergy Festival.

We're excited to have him back on Saturday supporting Frequent and COPYCATT at Twisted Lime. Word on the street is that he's cooking up a darker, heavier neuro-laden breaks set and we can't wait to see him unleash it.

The whole team at Grounded Sound are very excited to share our first event! We're taking over Twisted Lime, joined by 2 of the most forward-thinking producers in Bass Music - Frequent & Copycatt!

We'll be doing a full venue conversion with premium lighting and installation artwork to tickle all your senses. The fantastic sound system installation in this venue from foregoes the need to bring our own, but rest assured you'll be hearing that soon!

We are entering an exciting new phase here at Grounded as we officially welcome Cal Baker and Ben Cullen to the crew. At its core Grounded has always been about fostering underground music culture through sound systems and this is really just the next part of this journey. Grounded will be harking to its free party roots and becoming more active event creation and promotion. Really looking forward to seeing you out there on the dance floor soon.
