Amy qualified as an Event Manager at Drysdale Institute of Tafe before moving into the media industry working as an Event Manager for almost 10 years. What a wonderful time we had at lovely little Florence’s 5th Birthday at the Battery Point Community Hall this weekend.
We loved designing, creating and hosting this party with pops of pink and red and lots of fun for the kids- with circus dress ups & polaroid pics, sideshow style games and of course lots of little giggles and smiles!
Collaborating with other Tassie businesses is something we love to do and this event was no exception, HIRED STYLE created our absolutely incredible ballon installation and Ferris wheel set up which and was the perfect for our room and made the best back drop for our circus dress up photo shoot. Our party people also had gorgeous face painting by .

On a crisp Autumn day, we joined the beautiful Tessa and Justin in the Derwent Valley as they were married under a big old gum tree surrounded by their kids, family and friends.
We had the absolute honour of coordinating the day’s festivities, so Tessa and Justin could focus on the most important part of the day- getting married!

It was a magical experience seeing the sun shine through the clouds just as Tessa and her girls walked through the open field making her way to the ceremony and Justin. The Autumn light was golden and vagg photography captured the whole day with absolute perfection in a truly beautiful collection of Wedding photography.

delivered such a heart warming ceremony which included one super special surprise moment……..as Tessa and Justin share a love of gardening, Rachael arranged their own garden bed and a seed planting as part of the ceremony in the nearby community gardens.

As the afternoon sun went behind the hills, the party was starting just up the road at Swallow Brewery. This venue is truly unique and is filled with an impressive collection of indoor plants, an eclectic mix of furniture and a mural that brought a pop of colour to the space. Guests dined on an epic grazing table by Rub it up Smokehouse and filled up on the delights of Taco Taco, in a party that had the dance floor full all night!

This Wedding was one that we sat back and just took a moment to really take in the love and laughter in the room, such a special Wedding for two special people.
Thank you Tessa and Justin for allowing us to take the reigns and be part of your Wedding day, we never take it for granted that we are invited in to be part of a celebration such as yours and we wish you all the very best for a long and happy life together ###x

Absolutely stunning shots of Rosa and Nick’s Wedding by the wonderful , such beautiful work Fiona!
These photographs capture the simple beauty of the Battery Point Hall and the perfect floral styling by .
So many highlights in this room including…..the gyp clouds that seemed to float in amongst the tulle features, the beautifully full reflexed white roses, the most lovely personal touch with embroidered napkins with all the guests names made by Rosa herself, our cut glass glassware that complimented the tablescape + the cake by , the most incredible creation we have ever seen.

Again & Nick, thank you for allowing us to be part of this magical celebration we loved every minute x

When it's time to party, do it Barbie style!
We had so much fun celebrating Claudia's 6th Birthday with a Barbie themed party at the Battery Point Community Hall
We set and coordinated an afternoon of festivities for 22 little girls including a make up station, nail salon and a gorgeous Barbie style dress up area where all the party guests chose their favourite outfits and had their own polaroid pictures in frames to take home. We were having so much fun we didn't have a chance to take too many snaps of the festivities, but believe us when we say these girls had so much fun!
Sally Sunshine Entertainment Balloons and Barbie box were so perfect and Ally's Sweet Treats birthday cake was spectacular & Lollies on Hampden Lolly Grazing table was a real hit with the kids and adults alike.
Thank you Claudia (& Claudia's Mum and Dad!) for having us. We had the very best time and loved seeing all the happiness in the room, it was so gorgeous. We had the best time and hope you all did too!

Christmas may just be a distant memory now but just before the festivities really got underway, Gay Flowers & House of A Event Management hosted a beautiful Christmas wreath workshop at one of Hobart’s most spectacular locations Alceme Hobart.

Back for its 3rd year, this time we thought we would mix things up a bit! Our workshop lead by florist Alex, was boutique style class where all our guests had access the the most glorious grazing table of bits and pieces to create their own individual wreath. With succulents to berries, mini apples, dehydrated citrus, native florals, decorative ribbons, a mix of seasonal foliage just to name a few, all our guests choose all the exact elements they loved to create their own personal wreath.

Another wonderful evening that got us into the spirit of the season! Thank you to absolutely everyone that attended our workshop, we had an amazing time and hope you did too! Looking forward to this Christmas coming for Wreath workshop 4!!!!
