๐ข Calling all entertainers, community groups, food vendors and hospitality venues ๐ข
Take part in next yearโs DRENCH Festival.
Weโre pleased to announce that Temora Shireโs dedicated cultural festival, DRENCH, will run again from 1st to 31st March 2024.
Council is calling for expressions of interest from event organisers who are keen to be featured in the 2024 events program.
Local businesses and community groups are encouraged to hold cultural community events during the month of March that can be promoted under the DRENCH program. Approved events will be promoted for free under DRENCH umbrella to help increase attendance and build the festival brand. Promotional activities include social media posts, Visit Temora event listings, inclusion in the festival program, posters, print advertising, radio announcements, and more.
Events must have a cultural focus and be held in Temora Shire during the month of March. Examples of complying events include live music, art workshops, cooking classes, exhibitions, historical immersions, theatre, food experiences, and multicultural appreciate activities.

Heycox & Co is taking bookings for Corporate & Private Christmas Parties & functions throughout the Riverina and Snowy Valleys๐ฟ
We supply everything - flowers, and materials.
You supply the venue! We can teach workshops with a large amount of participants upto 100 people at a time $75 pp including all materials and flowers, with a lovely handmade wreath.
We travel everywhere within the Riverina and Snowy Mountains!
Cheryl-Ann Cox from Heycox & Co is a fully qualified Floral Designer trained by Phillipa Craddock (HRH Queen Elizabethโs funeral flowers, HR Duke and Duchess of Sussex -Prince Harry and Meganโs wedding flowers) & Judith Blacklock Flower School London ( Editor of Flora Magazine & Author of 18 books about flower arranging) Cheryl-Ann has 25yrs experience in the cut flower industry.
All flowers used in our arrangements are Everlastings (Dried Flowers)! Heycox & Co refuses to use plastics, or non biodegradable materials, we grow most of our flowers used in workshops and arrangements ourself using organic farming practices. Our flower farms are based in the Riverina and Snowy Valley.
We also cater for other events - flower crown workshops, Hens parties, birthdays for children and adults, weddings, and other bookings as required. Heycox and Co flower farming, Scott working on our Strawflower patch! Thousands of holes burnt into weedmat! Compost & fertiliser mixed into the soil, and seeds grown in cell trays getting ready for planting out in spring! It takes months to get the preparations done for cutting thousands of Strawflowers! Harvesting starts in mid Spring and lasts until early winter. ๐ฟ flowers are sent out daily to customers in South Australia, Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, ACT.
(Due to biosecurity legislation dried flowers of some varieties under certain conditions cannot be sent to WA, TAS and NT
