Guess what came in the post today? My beautiful vow card booklets and certificate holder, all personalised to my requirements. Thank you Jacob for your excellent service, Melbourne yesterday, Hobart today.
I'm looking forward to introducing them to my couples very soon.
Meet Lucy, one of my fur babies.๐พ She's almost 15 human years old, glaucoma has made her blind and advancing years have blessed her with selective hearing. Do I love her? You bet I do.

Hi I'm Mary and I'm a celebrant ready to help you share your story. โ Wedding ceremonies are an honour๐ชข. Memorial services are a privilege. What's your story? I'm looking forward to hearing it. โ
With every increasing talk about AI images, I want to assure all my current and future couples that there is absolutely no funny business about this image.
It's 100% authentic.
This is the me you get in real life, a bit cheeky on the outside, sincere and genuine on the inside.
Still not convinced? Why not contact me for a confidential chat about your upcoming celebrations.โ๏ธ Weddings, memorial services, funerals.

When women get together, great things happen.
For me, the beach has always been a place to come and think. In these reflective moments, I go over conversations with couples and pick out that nugget of gold they give me so that I can create their special story. Can I share your story? Send me a DM.
I love the work of author Donna Ashworth. She writes beautiful, meaningful words that comfort, hope and happiness. Check out some of her work, I'm sure you'll love it. ๐
It may seem trivial, but being a witness in a marriage is another crucial part of ensuring a marriage is legal. In a nutshell, a witness must be over 18, be able to hear ๐and understand the ceremony, plus sign โthe marriage certificates. Talk to your celebrant about funky ways of choosing your witnesses. I'll order the tea - let's chat.๐โ
As a celebrant I will need to see certain documents ๐to confirm your identity when we meet to sign the NOIM (Notice of Intended Marriage). A passport or original birth certificate will help me to verify your date๐ and place of birth. Once I'm confirmed as your celebrant๐ค, I will email you my Ceremony Creator booklets, they will outline other ID documents that need to be provided. I'm ready for a cuppa๐ซ - let's chat.
I really like patterns with numbers. What do you think of these?
Autumn in Hobart is beautiful, think yellow, red and orange tones. The days are mild, the nights are deliciously cool.
See you on the flip side summer!
Creating your ceremony from scratch can be daunting, even if you have ideas on what you want - or don't want to include. I've got the basics covered in my 'Let's get started on your Wedding Ceremony' booklets. ๐
They are designed to help you navigate the basics in an easy to understand format. Plus there are suggestions on how and where to add bells and whistles. Reach out and let's chat.๐ซ
A tradition with Irish origins ๐gave women the 'right' to propose to their partners on a Leap Day. Whilst considered a bit old fashioned in today's modern age, it is still a fondly remembered convention.๐๐ซถ๐
A rehearsal is the perfect opportunity to practice:
Walking down the aisle to your chosen music.๐คบ๐ด
Using a microphone.๐ค
Checking where everyone will stand (including those doing a reading).๐
Looking at the direction of the sun - โ๏ธwill it be in your eyes during the ceremony?
It's also the best time to sign pre-wedding legal paperwork.๐
Ironing these things out before the ceremony will help calm nerves.๐งโโ๏ธ
I'm looking forward to assisting at your rehearsal.๐
๐Having a reading during your ceremony means different things to different couples. You can choose a Bible reading, favourite poem, song lyric or something that you've crafted yourself. If you are stuck for ideas - I'm here to help - let's chat.๐ฉโ๐ป
My little business is starting to take shape. I love the car signage. Beep beep๐
Walk down the aisle your way. ๐คธโโ๏ธ๐คบ๐ผ๐น How you arrive is entirely up to you, there is no right or wrong. Can't wait to hear your ideas when we meet.
Bringing out our creative sides with ๐๐ผ๐บ๐น
๐ฅTraditions and customs are synonymous with wedding celebrations.
This popular rhyme has stood the test of time mostly for brides.
๐Of course it can be applied to both partners, let your imagination run wild and create your own traditions today.
โA celebrant (that's me) will work with you to create a ceremony that reflects you and your partner.
๐ Anytime is a good time to get married.
๐You can get married any day, any time.

I'm a Tasmanian OG. I love living in Hobart and experiencing all four seasonsโ๏ธ๐จโ๏ธโ๏ธ, even if sometimes we get all four in one day. But most of all, I love that a walk in nature is only a short distance away. By the way, this is where I grew up.
I can't wait to see the shoes๐ ๐ฉด๐ข you'll be wearing on your wedding day. Make them as individual as you are.๐
