Hi 👋
We know we've been especially quiet lately, but let's be honest it's that frosty, dark time of year when we're all just trying to survive the school drop-offs and endless runny noses...
We have had some enquiries trickling in lately for the next two years and we are very excited to get back into doing what we love. So keep them coming!
However, between families, other jobs, health rollercoasters etc etc, our office time has become less and less so your patience in our replies and quoting process is truly appreciated 👏

The Rundles 🤎

We're close to rounding out another successful season at Meka, albeit a little quieter this year. We enjoyed some more family time, holidays and self-care plus the excitement/chaos of both moving house (and therefore studios) within a month of each other 🙃
We are starting to find our feet in our new spaces and are already thrilled by the number of enquiries rolling in for the 2024/2025 season! 🙌

Our previous post seemed to cause some confusion sorry 😅

Yes we are still providing wedding and event flowers! (This is what we live and breathe!)

We are simply removing other styling services (signage, table linen etc.) from our repertoire, as these take a tremendous amount of liaison and office time.

After a massive 2 years of flowers, styling, kids, a new baby, a new business venture, a new job and ever-growing family commitments, we have reassessed where Meka will be going from here...
Due to limitations on our office time we will now be moving away from additional styling services and returning to our floristry roots!
In no way do we see this as a step backwards. It is simply the next right step to keep Meka alive and blooming!
We want to ensure we continue to provide the personalised experience we pride ourselves on and feel this is the best way to do so. We are excited to explore new floral trends and colour palettes and will be aiming to create unique arrangements for each client.
So, if you require stunning florals for your upcoming wedding or event, we'd love to hear from you! (Dates are already becoming limited for early 2024)

We will be aiming to update our website etc. in the coming weeks but this is quite a hefty task!

All existing bookings and quotes will remain as they are 😊

A lovely little winter wedding at that we've yet to share. We've really been making the most of this off season, we lead such busy lives and with the impending arrival of a new baby we have been trying to take the down time while we can get it.
But wedding season is a knocking and we'll be busy before we know it 💕

We've been enjoying a little bit of downtime but these sunnier days, appearing daffodils and an influx of new enquiries has pulled us from our hibernation!

We hope all the lovely ladies had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday! ❤ We enjoyed a day for ourselves after wrapping up an unbelievably busy and lengthy wedding season on Saturday. We certainly tested our physical, mental and creative limits with over 50 events since October. We cannot thank all our beautiful clients enough for their support this year, allowing our little business to bounce back after the pandemic.
We now look forward to a moment to breathe and recuperate before a couple of bookings in July (then Spring will be here before we know it!) 💐💜

Therefore availability will be limited for the 2022-2023 season. Saturdays are already fully booked for November & December, with minimal spaces left for January & February.
