Well Mother's Day this year is not quite how I expected it to be....
I tested positive on Thursday so right now I'm barricaded in my bedroom! 🦠😷
So, I'm spending my Mothers Day with my kids on the other side of the door...
I have my young man James who turned 18 in March 😭 & my pretty girl @taryn.sheeds
who turned 16, also in March.
They are totally amazing, caring, wonderful, amazing, fun, wonderful and they are really showing their stuff looking after me 🙂
BUT, I am also a proud Fur Mummy as well to JJ, my slightly neurotic & adorable King Charles Cavi and Tim Tam, my cat who is a tabby but we think he has a bit of Bengal in him.
Mum loves you and thank you for looking after me and you will be running away from the hugs and kisses you'll get next Thursday!

I have several stories about my two (so please indulge me 🤣)
🐈 TIM TAM
We rescued Timmy. I came across a post on FB marketplace that a man's cat got out, got pregnant, had kittens and that he was going to 'dispose' of them if they weren't gone by the end of the day.
I left work, quickly raced to the Reject Shop to get the things I'd need then raced to the house in Yarrambat. Mexican drug lord was the best way I could describe him. I had said that I wanted a female and quickly took the kitten and went home. We named the kitten Tim Tam.
A week later, took Tim Tam to the Vet to get checked out, only to have the Vet piss herself laughing, hold Tim Tam up and say TIM TAM IS A BOY 🤣
🐕 JJ
JJ is a pure bred King Charles Cavi. They are by far my favourite dog. When the breeder rang me and asked which puppy we wanted, my response was the one with character 🤣 YEAH, she knew which one!
JJ was short for James Jnr . Which is what James wanted to call him. We settled on JJ.
When he was still a puppy, James broke his arm at school (monkey bars - no surprise) and to keep him occupied, bought him a laser pointer pen. JJ found it veryyy interesting and chased it everywhere. And it screwed with his brain cells. LIKE, FOR REAL.
So now, we have a very excitable, very neurotic, light chasing, wall licking dog 🤣

My trip up to Sale to see the wild Peacocks in the Botanical Gardens (my partner lived there for several years and we had always talked about going up there and he wanted me to experience the Peacocks at the Gardens...it was an incredibly special present to give each other 🦚

THEN, it's off to a local park for KFC with my family (this tradition has gone on as long as I can remember) and then we're home to watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation with popcorn then time for putting out the presents 🎁 (as well as wrapping those last minute ones).
THEN, tomorrow morning it's getting woken up fairly early to open presents and we are off to my parents for breakfast.
THEN, we are off to my aunty's for lunch.
THEN IT'S HOME SWEET HOME.
MORE POPCORN, ANOTHER XMAS MOVIE.
AND THEN, BED.

Okaaay now...
Getting the COVID-19 Vax is becoming a fairly contentious issue. I know many people understand, want, need the Vax..and probably as many who don't want, don't support the requirement to be. And you know, to me, I have always strongly believed that everyone has the right to feel/ believe what they want.
Today, now though, I am fully vaxxed up.
Pfizer don't make me feel tooo gross 🤣 (don't know about you, but 100% of everyone I've spoken too, have said they have felt quite sick after for a few days) PLEASE....
So, well I'm fully vaccinated and I've done an online training course in COVID-19 infection control 🦠😷
So, feel comfortable that when you work with me, I know the in's & out's of it all.
So, yeah feel comfy knowing this and also that I respect others decisions.
