Every year the coordinates an audit to track its impact over the previous 12 months.

We’ve just done the calculations and have worked out our Party Packs have helped to save over 1070 items from landfill since our launch just a couple of short months ago! 🥳

This number includes cups, plates and cutlery but does not include the numerous tablecloths, platters, jugs, wine glasses and decorations that we have had in circulation.

Q: Can you SPOT the difference between these cups and plastic cups often seen at events?

A: Both are durable, but one is not in a good way!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Plastic party cups are durable due to their chemical bonds, which unfortunately also make them resistant to breaking down, meaning they can hang around for up to 450 years! That’s 450 years per cup per guest per party 😵‍💫

Reasons why we love tulle pom poms for decorations:
1️⃣ They’re easily made in a variety of colours and sizes,
2️⃣ They can be attached to each other to form a string of pom poms and used as a garland,
3️⃣ They’re able to be cleaned and are reusable,
4️⃣ They are able to be packed away and don’t use up much space,
5️⃣ They don’t end up in rubbish at the end of the day.

Unicorn popcorn! A simple but striking party snack.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Using popcorn, white chocolate, food colouring and a variety of tasty decorations like m&ms, skittles, sprinkles or mini marshmallows, you too can whip this up in a few minutes and have a tasty treat like the one in this photo by .
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Recipe:
1️⃣ Pop the popcorn according to packet instructions (or use pre-popped popcorn).
2️⃣ Using the microwave and a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate in short bursts, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
3️⃣ Divide chocolate into separate bowls for colouring and colour lightly with food colouring. Remember less is more - you might only need two colours.
4️⃣ Pour the first coloured chocolate over the popcorn and mix to coat. Spread on a baking-paper lined tray. Top with your chosen tasty treats before drizzling over the second coloured chocolate.

We have been a bit absent on here recently as we have focused on being present to celebrate a very special first birthday with a party over the weekend!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Having first hand experience now of using one of our Party Packs I honestly could never go back to planning and buying (and then throwing away!) all the decorations and party dinnerware in addition to everything else that needs to be done.

Not everyone is a fan of party themes and not everyone wants to commit to one when hosting an event. We get it.

That’s why we also have an Essentials offering with all the necessities to help you avoid soggy plates and flimsy cups at your next event, whether there’s a theme or not.

Think of it as a blank slate to suit any sort of kid-friendly event! Dress it up with toys or things around home or leave it as is. Either way works.
